It was beautiful and I love the parallel between the waterfalls and the two of them. Poor Sess has more skeletons in his closet than a graveyard. Kagome just needs to remember that he is just as fragile in spirit as the poor ryokan and keep etching her way into his heart and life.

I can't wait to see the pictures and as for the next chapter, I sincerely hope they are not some loud mouth tourists with bratty kids - that might drive Sess to leave himself.

Oh my! I'm all caught up! But not for long, lmao.

You don't know how happy I was that Sesshomaru couldn't sleep, and that he was tossing around in bed! That's one of the punishment he deserved for what he did to poor Kagome. I mean I know she acted all tough in front of him, but she's broken on the inside right, and it's all his fault. Baka. Yes, since I just read the last chapter, I still think he's an idiot, lmao.

His thought process was well done. It's like everything was pulling him to go to her, while everything was pulling him in so he wouldn't go. I think you describe his internal conflict very well, but then again, since your an amazing writer, it comes as no surprise! I actually stopped being mad at him (well a bit) when he went after her. I felt like screaming about time dummy!

The sight of Kagome would have probably broken my heart, and I'm not kidding, lol. he has a heart of steel, Well not really since he did break down eventually. When she was about to leave, I could feel his desperation through the words you wrote. It really thug at my heart. Not only was there Kagome's strong desire to be needed, to help, to be his friend, but there was Sesshomaru's struggle to give up a wall he seems to have had his whole life.

As soon as I saw the chapter's title hun, I began to freak out.

In my head I was going, oh isn't it typical of Sesshomaru to go forward, then extremely back. Unfortunately I was right, and now, all I want to do is smack him in the back of the head. Kami knows he desperatly needs it. His brain is obviously not working right. Lmao, yes I'm frustrated. But it's good, I mean, it does mean you painted the scene right with your amazing talents!

Kagome's talk with that old lady just made the mystery thickens. I'm much wondering even more about Sesshomaru's mom, but also about the past. Now, with the little hints youre leaving around, I just know something really marked him when he was younger. It also made me realize how rude people are something.

Then, Sesshomaru was a major a-hole. I understand he's close on himself, and Kagome doesn't know the situation but that stupid baka didn't have to send her away like that. For a moment I admit, I didn't think Kagome was gonna do it. But then, i was jumping in my seat cheering for her, lmao. GO KAGOME! You show him girl!

This was a beautiful chapter, and I think it was much required in their relationship. There was the obvious clash of personality with friendly bubbly, open Kagome and loner, secretive Sesshomaru. An I think it's because of the way Kagome is, that Sesshomaru had no choice but to open up a bit to her. I think the road will be long, but I know you'll make it worth the trip, as you always do.

You showed us a new side of Sesshomaru, and you chose the right time and setting to do it. This is a marvelous story that I know will have a few twists and turns, but since you're writing it, it will be nothing short of amazing, i know that already.

The warmth of the sun brings the first crack in the glacier!  HaHa!  You know, in the manga, I arrived at the episode where Sesshy's mom appears, and they fly through the air together in dog form.  My first thought was, 'Oh, no!  Sesshomaru has a mate!'  When I discovered his mother was still alive, it explained so much about his anger and resentment toward InuYasha and Izayoi, and cast Sesshomaru and InuYasha's father in a much less pristine light than had the reminiscences of Myoga the flea and Toutosai.  I can't wait for more revalations in next chapter...

awwwwww....how cute...i'm happy sesshoumaru managed to swallow his pride...well for about 1.7 seconds, but he was able to hinder kagome from leaving him

The shameless woman, huh? This should be interesting. The granny part reminded of that story you mentioned the ast time you went to Japan when you helped the old woman at the...was it train station? But I like the twist and how it revealed more vague clues to the mystery. not a stuper long chapter, but there was definitely important info in there. Now what shall Kagome do for the next several hours in the cold dark night?

I think it's safe to assume that Sesshomaru is cracking little by little, and it starts with a very sad Kagome. :D He getting a bit frustrated now that he managed to break Kagome's heart into pieces~ ;___; That must've suck for him by now. XD

This was the most definitive chapter thus far, Sesshomaru is definitely marching into Heathcliff territory!  I could just picture Kagome dragging her luggage to the train stop, and realizing she would have to stay there in the cold (or do the unthinkable and go back to Sesshomaru until morning, which I wouldn't do!)
