YES SADFACE X1000000000 D8!!! It's so much like an asian drama show! Each chapter is an episode or part of an episode that plays in my head as I read it! And now with the picture on your profile of beautiful Tsumago (I'm going to make it a point to visit there the next time I go to Japan for an extended stay!), this story just seems all the more real! I love the interaction in this between Hojo and Kagome, how he questions and she tries her best to answer. And I find it so sweet that Sesshoumaru was going to go out to look for her in the rain~
I can't wait to see what happens next and how this drama is resolved! Awesome writing as always!
Momo (Chapter 14) - Sun 04 Jul 2010
disssliiikeeee!!! Stupid Hobo.
This is such an interesting version of Sesshomaru. He is so awkward and difficult! I can't wait to find out how in the world you are going to write this, to prevent him from ruining and wasting his life. Kagome is very stubborn! If she wasn't, she would definitely be out of there!
Nysrina (Chapter 14) - Sun 04 Jul 2010
Gosh, Miss Teak, you are fast! LOL...
I really want to smack Sesshoumaru with those brollies; he's behaving like a petulant girl, really! *angry face*
Nysrina (Chapter 13) - Sun 04 Jul 2010
Aahh... That answered my earlier question. So they simply had their marriage registered. Thank goodness Sesshoumaru's grandfather did not insist on ceremonies. Hehehe.. Glimpses of Kagome's romantic history in chapter twelve. *wiggles eyebrows* Sesshoumaru must be intruiged, to say the least. She spoke of the devil and he came tripping in through the entrance a few days later...
Ouch! Cuts on the fingers can be really bloody and are such annoying. painful inconveniences. But they're nothing compared to Sesshoumaru's abrasive demeanour. :( Poor Kagome. At the risk of being lynched, I would like to say: "Go on, Hojo-kun. Teach Sesshoumaru a lesson." *evil chuckle*
Nysrina (Chapter 11) - Sun 04 Jul 2010
Hooray! I'm catching up with the chapters!
Awww, that's awfully sweet of Sesshoumaru to bring her treats. Actions speak louder than words, no? ;)
Nysrina (Chapter 10) - Sun 04 Jul 2010
Enoki's better than bean sprout any old day, Sesshoumaru. LOL... But mushroom tempura - darn, Miss Teak, you make me wanna hop down to the nearest supermarket and get a pack of shitake to turn into tempura for tea-time snack (the spouse eats those with Tabasco sauce! Can you beat that? Sacrilege!). Heh.
Oh goodness, knocked out by a shampoo bottle? That's some arm power, Kagome! Anger does give her superhuman strength! O_o;
The pictures are all lovely...I can so image the story in that environment.
However, I think Sess has got a rather large pine stuck up his a$$ for the way he's treating Kagome. His beligerence will only cause more hurt and more pain. His jealously is his own damn fault... As for the cut, I can't begin to tell you how many of those I got in culinary school. They are a pain.
Britt (Chapter 13) - Sat 03 Jul 2010
You should be shot! D:
So very sad indeed. Hojo just needs to go away!
Saide (Chapter 13) - Sat 03 Jul 2010
AHHHHHHHHHHH! Hojo you moron! >A<)O
I do hope something happens ;____; Sesshomaru should swallow his pride for a bit XD;;;;;;;;;
It's giving me goosebumps hrrrrgh! XD
Of course poor Kagome, such hard words, but poor sesshomaru too. He is so scarred and I'm sad to see that he is still not understood. It was evident that he would act that way afterall, with the so emotional way she talked about hojo earlier and then, poof, he appears before them! and in lieu of without words reassure sesshomaru that she won't abandon him she get closer to hojo leaving him inconsciously to the side. She did nothing wrong but her relation with sesshomaru is already so difficult ...
I hope that she won't say a thing to hojo! I think that he needs that someone remember him that she is a married woman!
And I really hope that she will realize and finally understand the reaction of sesshomaru. It is evident that trying to pry something so directly from him would just result of him closing off. I hope that Sesshomaru will be able to express himself one day and not hide behind his cold words as protection.
Can't wait to see what will happen next!
(Chapter 13) - Sat 03 Jul 2010
Gaaarrrgggghhh! That was soo moody and PERFECT! I mean the way you twist the story is amazing and so captivating! I love this story!
yes you should, in the leg (so your hands are still free to type the next chapter)
Fox (Chapter 1) - Sat 03 Jul 2010
HOLY FISHSTICKS THIS IS AMAZIIIIING! I can't wait to read more FUFU!
poor Kagome..it's obvious that she's starting to feel for him, and he goes back and pushes her away. He's such a social retard.
No, you should not be shot, I love the angst! And it is so genuine, not contrived, how in the world did you get to know so much about human nature, Miss Teak? You are the wisest young woman I have ever encountered! And I am very fond of your drawings for this fic, as well. It is extra special seeing artwork for a story, drawn by the author, because it is not filtered through the interpretation of another. Straight from the author to the reader... Keep up the great work, Miss Teak!
Rikayu (Chapter 13) - Sat 03 Jul 2010
Sesshoumaru + Kagome + Hojo = Trouble.
I agree! This chapter was very interesting to read. Sesshoumaru's obvious jealousy shows that he's starting to really grow attachment to Kagome! I really can't wait to see what happens with Hojo and it all in the next chapter! XD Great writing, MT!
Darrakk (Chapter 13) - Sat 03 Jul 2010
"... should be shot..." hmmmm....
Very tempting. Very tempting indeed. Especially after third parties as well....
Shooting looking very good at moment lol.
Oh, believe me, little girl, you will be held to that statement. I know exactly how Kagome felt when acted so cold toward her. She could feel his accusations before he ever said anything. He has a very powerful aura, (for the lack of a better word) and she is so receptive of him, of his emotions, that she just can't help but feel his anger. She definitely doesn't understand it, she didn't do anything wrong, but she has to talk to him because she can't feel right until she does. Those scathing remarks of his? He has hurt her so deeply. He as much as cut her like he was cutting those vegetables. Each remark slicing another piece of her heart. She trys to throw hateful words back to him so he can feel how much it hurts, only to be cut too deeply and before it gets out of hand in front of their guests and to give her heart time to stop beating so fiersely within her chest, to stop the tears from turning into sobs of pain, she turns to leave and go to get herself under control. Oh my gosh, I know...I know.
Talking to Hojo would be a very big mistake, in my opinion. What happens between a husband and wife should never be shared with another. Especially not the person who they argued is about. Sesshoumaru would never accept that she told Hojo anything so private. They have just proved (to me, anyway) that they actually do love each other, otherwise they wouldn't be having this arguement in the first place. I wonder who will figure this out first?? JEN
Just as things were beginning to get comfortable... I had a feeling that something like this might occur when you mentioned that 4 men were coming to the ryokan. I figured there might be problems with Kagome being the only female there and since she is always so friendly that maybe Sessh would get his first pangs of jealousy, but having Hojo there is going to put a nice twist to this.
