Wonderful story. Kind of a nice break from the more dramatic Wisteria. Can't wait to see what else our couple goes through.

I loved this chapter!  It was simple, and we finally get to read what they LIKE about each other.  Also, the bathroom scene was fun to read!  Nothing like throwing in an awkward situation for some humor! XD  I cannot wait for the next installment!

The hilarious image of a very, very not amused Enoki!Sesshoumaru in very clearly etched into my mind now LMAO.  The interaction between Sesshoumaru and Kagome in this chapter was just adorable and as I was reading, it felt like I was watching one of those comedy-romance Japanese shows~ XD  Very nicely written~

That was such a delight to read!  And I almost fell out of my chair at the almost kiss!  JUST at an almost kiss!  You're torturing me, woman! 

Chapter five was rather sweet and amusing! In spite of being quick to get all riled up by her 'husband', Kagome is displaying an admirable amount of forebearance. I would have burnt his breakfast. Or introduced his face to the saucepan with as much violence as I could muster.

Oh, the drama in chapter six! More intriguing clues on Sesshoumaru's past. I wonder who the shameless woman is? Something tells me it's Sesshoumaru's mum...

Miss Teak, I want to tweak your nose for writing such an engaging story. *tweak tweak* LOL.

Awww, I loved the interaction between them in this chapter! But I am so very curious about Sesshoumaru's mother. lol We will all know soon enough I know. :) Can't wait to read the next chapter.

Sess is really a pesky one isn't he, but then he bought all her sweet treats to make up for it. Gosh golly, I could have just kissed him for that one.

It looks as though Kagome has broken the ice Sesshoumaru has lived in all these years. Though her loud annoying voice when she's angry is a drawback, he seems to be having a great time getting to know his new wife. I know I'm enjoying it!

You know, back before we married, my husband would always bring me some kind of food, candy or fruit when he would show up for a date. Where most women received flowers and candy or pieces of jewelry or such, my man always thought to give me what made me most happiest, that, and he thought I was terribly undernourished. No matter how much he's try and feed me, I never gained an ounce. He still does this after 31 yrs together. He knows that one flower is just as meaningful as a bouquet, so I get one flower and one of my favorite candies, which happens to be Twizzlers, Snickers, and KitKat bars. Can't say I'm still skinny anymore though, hmm...

Several times you have mentioned maybe 'they' will leave him alone, is he required by his so called family to be married so he can retain ownership of the ryokan? This has me quite curious because it seems like the marriage will also serve another purpose other than Kagome attaining her inheritence, and Sesshoumaru had also mentioned that no one else stayed more than a day. Hmm, curiouser and curiouser...   JEN

Ah, sweet, Miss Teak!  I love the little treat he prepared for her, that just made me melt, like the ice cream!  And you WILL find someone like that...  When you aren't expecting it, he will come along...  Because you deserve someone awesome!

Aw, I love this chapter. AND I WAS BORN IN YEAR 50 OF THE SHOWA ERA!! I get excited by silly things. Anyway, this was a lovely chapter and Sesshoumaru's actions at the end reminded me of my own husband, who's very fond of surprises like that. It made my heart go all gooey.

This story especially, have me hooked. It's quite refreshing, and I even had to go read "Hapimari" as soon as you mentioned it was somehow inspired by it.

Taking time to lead us readers through Kagome's transition is nothing to apologize for; some things are not to be rushed through. :) I, for one, am glad for the pace and details.

I like the way you've included food preparation into chapter four (now I want to try replicate the dishes! Hehe..) and the intruiging hints that you've dropped regarding Sesshoumaru's family life and past.
