So I guess Kagome hasn't made her decision yet on whether or not to leave Shanghai with Naraku?? At first I was so sure that she was going to accept the offer, but the longer you make Kagome stall, the more I think you'll actually have her decline the offer. Maybe she'll see Sesshoumaru again, by accident, and that'll make her decide to stay? Even something as simple as this has so many possibilities!! lol.

Ahh... reading this has made me miss rice dumplings. I haven't had any in so long! VA is horribly lacking in Asian goodies like that. lol.

Of course, Megumi is the smart one and has it all figured out! lol. And she really gave Kagome something to think about! xDDD

Ohhhhh... At first I was really wondering and curious about Sesshoumaru's behavior. Why is he so secretive and why is he so cautious about where he is going and even recalling you giving me a hint about why Sesshoumaru would be on a private line with Saito. Now it all makes sense!

It's a good thing to know that while Sesshoumaru is in the mafia, he's not really evil. Still, it's sad that Inuyasha doesn't know the truth - can't know the truth - and hates Sesshoumaru in the process. Maybe in the end or near the end of the story, Inuyasha will finally understand and learn to forgive Sesshoumaru for his decisions???

But Sesshoumaru really did give up a lot for his career, didn't he? That's so sad. T___T; And even though Sesshoumaru is hott as hell as a pretend mafia member, his past is really depressing and I really feel for him.

Ohh myy... sex trades? >__>;; I hope that isn't Naraku's true intention when he gave that offer to Kagome. Goodness knows how popular she would be ANYWHERE. (As a side note, you'll find this aspect familiar in my victorian era story. lol.)

Yikes, Sesshoumaru's imagination is just going to get him even more worried and pissed off with Naraku. He needs to focus so he doesn't get caught offguard and die at some random moment. lol.

As I said before, I don't like Kagome pondering on wether or not she should be going. I mean, I know it can seem like a good opportunity, but when someone like Naraku propose to you such a deal, the first thing you should do is run as far away from him as possible. But the poor girl love singing, and I guess I'll forgive her.

I know what's coming, wait I have this uneasy feeling in my stomach, as if I'm scared it won't happen, lmao.

I really love how you set in the dreaded feeling, even with little simple thing as the clicking of her heels. Oh yes that's good. She has to say no. Kagome is a smart girl after all. Well, she doesn't say no for the actual right reasons, but she still makes up her mind that it would be a bad idea. Uncertainty can be bad, but human trafficking is worst. Just sayin' lol.

NO! What sounds stupid is thinking that uncertainty is stupid. Though I think we all know the real reason why she doesn't want to go is because of Sesshomaru. If she's not there, then in her mind there is absolutely no way they will ever see each other again. (Though she has no clue what's coming in a few steps LMAO).

I truly adore how you wrote her emotions, and the internal conflict when she sees him. I mean, she knows what he is, and how he left without a word. She felt something for him, and he slipped away. Now to see him like that, especially with her whirpool of emotions and everything going on its' hard, and you described it perfectly.

If I was her, I'd kick him in the nuts. Just for the heck of it. Kiddin! Or am I?

I love, I adore, how she just walks past as if he was a stranger, saying she doesn't understand Japanese. In a moment like this, from the way you write it, we can tell she is so close to breaking down, but in front of him, she is trying to keep her strength and composure, which is obviously very hard to do! Kudos for writing such heart wrtetching scenes!

I think it's even more frustrating for her that she can't understand what he is saying. Obviously she knows it's important if he came all the way to tell her, but she can't tell what it is. And him, well, the poor guy is only trying to protect her, but SOMEONE made him Japanese, Kagome CHINESE. I so won't say who did that...

Kagome's rage for having been left by a word she didn't understand is very comprehensible. AND OMG. I love it, he writes in her palm. THAT'S LOVE! He is so desperate, he wants to stop her, and awee *gets all teary* I'm glad she could put it all together. He's trying  so hard! YOU GO SESSHY. Even though further development will make me hate you, lol.

DEAR! I know she has to fight against him because of what he did, but why?

Ohmy, Kagome sure isn't making it easy on herself with all those questions! Then again, can we really blame her? She knows nothing about him, and she can't contact him, so obviously she is bond to be worried once in a while, especially when she hears news like that! I wonder why her friends weren't suspicious at the first question she asked, lol. What interest does a songstress have in mafia?

Poor thing. I bet she had the feeling of her heart sinking, and going back up, when she learned that Sesshomaru was fine. Except now she might be thinking, he's the one who did it, and that's not good. Well, he did do it, but you know what I'm saying. I don't see Kagome as being this violent kind of person, so I don't think she would digest it so well that he did that.

See, I'm glad Kagome does have this other side of him she sees whenever she thinks about him since he allowed her to see that, but no matter what there is still a cruel side to him, even if it seems much smaller. I'm afraid that once she finds out, she will be extremely dissapointed and let down, because it will shatter the image she has of him. i'm scared a bit.

Ouch, I think their words hurt Kagome more than they know huh? And I'm so happy to hear Kagome hasn't done anything about that deal. Even though I know what's coming, lol, I'm glad between now and then, that she hasn't tried to accept the deal, or gotten closer to Naraku. Although who would want to be anywhere near that creep?

Kagome is such a sweet girl. See, Naraku is using the wrong bait to catch her. Kagome doesn't want the glitter, and shallow life. All she wants is the opportunity to share her passion for singing with more people. I really hope Naraku gets beat up or something, more preferably by Sesshomaru, though I have a feeling that will cause trouble for the later.

You know what? It hadn't crossed my mind at all that Kagome might be waiting for Sesshomaru. Smart Jasmine, you blinded my mind away with so many things, that I didn't see that. If Kagome wasn't where he met her, she might fear, that it'll truly be the end, that they'll never have a chance to see each other again, because he won't know how/where to find her.

I'm always so freaking nervous when Sesshomaru's out there. I always have a feeling, someone is going to pull out a gun out of nowhere, and kill/harm him. This can't be good for my heart, lol. Argh, it sound my stomach twisted all this anytime anywhere. I know it's the way it goes down, but I want nothing more than to smack him on the side of the head for having said that!

And stupid, stupid, Sesshomaru. I don't want him to make a deal with Naraku. I actually don't want him anywhere near Naraku unless it's to kill him. And one day, Sesshomaru will get in trouble for talking to all those policemen, I can already see it. Although in the end, it might turn out to be a blessing in disguise.

Alright, I didn't know that about Sesshomaru! I thought he was a mafia man from the start, but apparently you even had your readers fooled! He works for the Secret Services. Well I'll be darned. Argh. You mentionning that part with Inuyasha made me go all teary. But at least, I know undenrstand his lack of emotions. He was "trained" for it.

It's so sad that Sesshomaru did all that so that they both survived, but Inuyasha never got to know the full truth. Now he lost his hero, and he thinks his brother betrayed him, when the truth is, he never did. I REALLY hope you'll have a part where they reconcile, or I swear, I'm going to cry. It's so heartbreaking. Even Sesshomaru seems quite affected by it.

I can't even imagine the trauma of spliting yourself in tw, sometimes finding more comfort in one part than the other. AND OMG. I'm so glad Naraku and his plans are finally mentioned. AND I DO HOPE THIS WILL LEAD US TO KAGOME, and Sesshomaru saving her. Omg, see human trafficking. He wants to put our lovely Kagome in a box, that bastard!

See, I'm not the only one. The first thing that came to Sesshomaru's mind was Kagome. And he can deny his feelings for her as much as he wants, though he did admit he cares for her more than he did any other girl, he knows he will go to her rescue if she requires his help. It would only be fair since she has helped him.

Wow, see just how concern he is? He actually shut himself away from his own world just to think about her, which is omg so sweet. Can I have my own mafia/police man Sesshomaru? Pretty please? I won't be too rough with it, I promise. Fine, I might damage it. BUT SO WHAT? He can take it, he's a man.

The mental image he has of Kagome though is quite traumatizing, and I do not want that to happen to her. OMG. Usually they are supposed to kill anyone who might know who they are? Oh wow.  That was tremendous.  So much has just been uncovered in that chapter...and he can't seem to get her off of his mind. 

I really hope that Kagome doesn't become a victim of what appears to be happening, but makes for good reading, hmm?

Sesshoumaru is so dark and dangerous; thriving in the pain of other people and loving the violence. That's definitely the Sesshoumaru we know and love and yet... it's different. It's sort of on a whole other level - his lust for violence. It's a little scary but very exciting at the same time. You really bring a lot of emotions into your chapters - no matter what emotions there are. Right now, I'm shivering from reading about Sesshoumaru bashing that guy's head repeated against the glass shards.

This chapter was, not at all, what I was expecting. As you can see, my guesses from the previous chapters were horribly, horribly wrong. LOL. Still, it was an amazing chapter and I guess I can see the plot twist. We see a different and darker side of Sesshoumaru and he's killed Naraku's men - lots of them, so Naraku is going to want revenge in return now. And with Kagome caught in the middle, somewhat, it'll only make things worse, especially if Kagome does decide to leave with Naraku. Which... I'm sure she will, right?

And maybe the next time they meet again, Sesshoumaru will still be in his mafia killing people and Kagome will be famous and even more poised and elegant than before but the two will still fall in love because opposites do attract and that's how ADE stories go. LOL.

So... let's see. Let's think about this for a minute. A pretty big plot twist that drives Kagome and Sesshoumaru further apart. And it ends right after Naraku offers her that awesome opportunity... and Sesshoumaru is probably pissed as hell about Naraku interacting with Kagome. And I need to think in an ADE mindset...

Ohhhh.... Sesshoumaru is pissed and he'll keep a closer tab on Kagome and Naraku. He'll... want to kill Naraku? Or... despite the language barrier, he'll try to convince Kagome that Naraku can't be trusted? Maybe Sesshoumaru and Naraku will try to kill each other right then and there because of Kagome? Or maybe Kagome agreed to leave with Naraku and just as she's about to do so, Sesshoumaru comes out from no where and tries to get her to stay... and she rejects him?

This was quite a gory chapter.  Lots of action.  I liked that we learned about Sesshoumaru's past and what events led him to becoming a memeber/leader of the mafia.  I can't wait until Kagome and Sesshoumaru meet again.  ^_^

I simply adore the way you write all that intense gore, and violence while having Sesshomaru being so detached in his thoughts. I mean he's doing some serious damage, but it's as if all of it is happening in the background, and he's just standing there thinking, having no part what so ever in it. That just sent a chill down my spine.

You know we had seen a lighter side of Sesshomaru because of Kagome, but you totally changed that. He is dark, and his soul is rotten. Sesshomaru is in desperate need of a saving, and not many people will be able to offer him salvation. I mean, he doesn't even feel anymore. Hence why I think Kagome is good for him.

I suppose that this opportunity to sing is good for Kagome in most situations, but knowing Naraku he has some sort of plan up his sleeve and it's probably pretty devious.

Poor Sesshoumaru. He can't stop thinking about Kagome and then he sees her with his most hated enemy.  I was all excited and hoping for some interaction between the two, but I'll have to hold on a little longer.
