Hmm...!  This is going to be interesting!  I can't wait to read the next chapters and see how they not only get over the language barrier but also the creepiness of Sesshomaru being a yakuza.  You have so many good stories in progress that it's so easy to sit here and read them while procrastinating with the things I need to do, heheee!  Update soon~! ^_________^

The language barrier the two have will definitely be interesting to work around! I never really thought twice about the names changing when they translated the manga into other Asian languages. Just you watch - it's going to be a trivia question one day and I'll actually know the answer, lol. 

Out of curiosity, what dialect of Chinese are you using? I did get most of it even without the translation, but what was that extra word thrown in when Kagome was introducing herself? Heh, the next time someone says that taking a year of Mandarin was useless, I can point them to this story XD

XD You used their chinese name. XD I love Sesshoumaru's chinese name. I had a hard time hearing Kagome name when I was watching the cantonese version of Inuyasha. Ah Lee...XD Shippo's name in chinese is the same as in Japanese. 7 treasures. This is an interesting start. I will like to see how this goes.

I just know this story is going to be one of your best! im so worried how will they overcome a language barrier? but i know you will slowly bring them around. This is my fav an most highly anticipated story that i am reading to date!

An interesting storyline, not one that I've seen before. But then again, you are one of the rare writer's that put our beloved InuYasha cast in storylines that are most intriguing and adventurous, all the while keeping them in character with the manga/series.

I'm anxious to see how they relate to each other with the language barrier. It is a good thing that the letters/kanji are closely related enough to help them understand each other.

I also have to say that you are amazing at describing the scenes and the people just enough to give us a taste of what used to be without over compensating. You give everything just the right balance. I also adore how you are able to weave historical fact with just enough fiction to make all your fics seem as though they are reality.

You've got a wonderful beginning that I'm sure will also be a hit. I know I'm already curious.  JEN

Ya know, this is the second Criminal!Sesshoumaru meet Civilian!Kagome fanfic I find in Dokuga. But both have it's own appeal.. I fall in love with Crime Boss by Gabrielle and now you're in!! Wait for the fanarts!!

I like the way you adress the language barrier without making it confusing to read. I know that some people write everything in the languages they are supposedly speaking and then translate it into english in brackets for out benefit. even though you have some phrases where you do this the spacing of them and the narration in between makes it much more pleasant to read. Very nice chapter. (May i venture a guess that they will eventually come to a consensus on what language to speak?) ^_^ great work!
