Amazing chapter, Imani! I am simply in love with your characterization of Sesshoumaru's mother - cunning, ruthless and fiercely protective all at once. The conversation between her and Sess was executed perfectly imo, and I love how she was able to guide him subtly toward the path he needs to take in order to secure his lands AND Kagome's safety.

Your story, in the complexity of its plot and character motivations, is really starting to remind me of Martin's Song of Ice and Fire, which just so happens to be my favorite book series of ALL TIME! :) So keep up the awesome work - eagerly anticipating your next update!!

Holey cow!  I am in love with your story!  The words so intricately used to create such vivid and intense scenes with such emotion in all the chapters!  My heart went out for Sesshomaru and the pain and indecision.  And it soared with Kimi's silent motherly support in a way that so Sesshomaru that it leaves no doubt that they are mother and son.  No words can describe how you stir up my utter longing for the next installment, the next fix.

I get the feeling that there is more than what beats the eye. I feel that you have been giving us clues, but there is something missing… Maybe I´m seeing things but I do love a good mystery so I´ll just wait and see!

Hmph. Well, I'm still mad at Sesshoumaru, although I can understand his reasoning. I hope Kagome can find her own way out of trouble! I like it so much when she's portrayed as a strong, independent character. Of course, some help from Arashi would be neat, too - I'm really, really starting to find him intriguing, as sort of a foil to Inuyasha. Can't wait to see where you take the next chapters; keep up the awesome work! :)
