This fic was so so excellent. Thank you! My only slight disappointment was Sesshomaru never quite thoroughly got put in his place about some of the way he was behaving, but kagome did absolutely address it brilliantly and in a very in character way. The writing was superb and the plot was delicious. I loved the characterizations and how rounded out even the OCs were

What an epic ride.  You are a very talented author.  Excellent plot, great character portrayal, and you write an excellent villain. Ryukostokken literally makes my skin crawl - fantastic!

that's me with "Second Alliance" this was my 4th reread (at least can't really remember how many times I've read this now) and I love it everytime. I think about this story when I'm reading other fanfics and I keep coming back to it because it's that good. 

like I said: I will probably come back to this for years to come. And it was always hold a special place I my heart.

As I was reading the interaction between Sesshomaru and Bokuseno as the conversation with Ko and Arashi .  Martika's Love Thy Will be Done was on the in the background and it just fit.  Kagome's Love, Love Thy Will be Done.

Aww poor Inuyasha. His concern is valid, even if his fist fighting isn't. Then again, Sesshoumaru definitely instigated that one whether he'd intended to or not. ):

I have read this story again and again. This is one of tmy gavorite stories. Also Inuyasha ended up being Sesshomaru's son-in-law? I love it!

i think my favorite thing about this story is that, above and beyond writing the characters well (a must for a good story) and progressing their relationships in a realistic way, you were really balanced with your viewpoints. I LOVED getting to read so much from Sesshomaru‘s point of view, often in the same scene. But you avoided making covering the same scene tedious. Not many authors will, or maybe can, do that.

i also loved how you have so much attention to detail when expanding their world. The rules, customs, tendencies of certain demon types...you really went out of your way to develop things.

I cannot believe it is so late and I am just now finishing this chapter! And the epilogue is left! so much for finishing tonight I think, unless the last chapter is short. But at least the battle is over! Ko got hers in, Kimi corrupted Miroku even more, my favorite couple is together, Arashi was close to what I was guessing, but not quite, and everything is right with the world. Except that I am now going to be bumming around, looking for more good stuff to read. And I am going to be comparing it all to this. Sigh.

So I stopped reading last night because I knew I wouldn’t have enough time to finish. So I waited a day and behaved at work. Cooked dinner, sat down and got going on this chapter, and...the census lady calls for her regular check in with her usual billion questions. Sigh. But I am going to finish today! No more interruptions!

As soon as Kagome pulled out that spearhead I was just waiting for something as to happen with it. Of course it did. But you have been really quiet about potential side effects so maybe I am worried for nothing. I guess we shall see! So much left to resolve and so little time to do it. 

Oh no, is Kimi going to finally meet Miroku? i could seem him as her most faithful minion. Together they would be terrifying!

BTW, I guessed right! I was trying to figure out what you were doing with that bottle, and somehow I figured it out even though you did a very good job with your shadiness. But so far one thing isn’t clear at all. What were the instructions Arashi gave? Did he give the instructions he was told to? Or did he come up with something else entirely? Oh I hope you address that.
