Oh my.... Gawd
but it I love it. Thank you
Somehow I knew this would be what would have to come after all they've been through. Kagome will have to search within herself now. All she ever wanted was to hear Sesshoumaru tell her he loved her and he did but perhaps it's a little too late. She knows what having that child would have done to her but she couldn't admit it out loud. She didn't love it and it would be punishing her and the child should it have lived yet she called Sesshoumaru a monster.
She needs to come to the understanding that this was for the best. Sesshoumaru did what she wanted to do but couldn't and I have to wonder how long this will take her to grow up and stop wasting her life. She made Sesshoumaru love and she also took and showed him how it feels to be broken by love and judged for just being himself. She so easily accepted InuYasha's transformation as a part of him and forgave him for so much but she blames and hates, calls names to a male who she knew was full youkai. She's being a hypocrite.
Sesshoumaru made many changes for her. Most were against everything he has ever known and he sacrificed his pride for her and still accepted her as his mate. My heart goes out to him right now. 4 more months pass and she still couldn't come to grips with what is past and learn to move on with one who truly loves her. Stupid woman. I understand what she went through and how she could feel hatred for what he did but then I'd have done a lot of soul searching by then and found that he was right in what he did for he did this for me and my own sanity for having a constant reminder of my rape and torture. We would have talked this all through by then and I would have found my way back to him.
I don't know where this can or will go anymore. Kagome is a broken and bitter woman and maybe it's best that Sesshoumaru just give up on her, totally. I'm sad for them. I see no way for this to come together. I actually have tears in my eyes for them both.

I feel so bad for the both of them. All the pain they're going through. I hope that eventually kagome will come back and they can reconcile.

I'm having a hard time reading an entire wall of italics. Could you change back to a normal font, please?
You've got typos, I'd suggest getting a beta or using Grammarbase.com.
Also, I can't offer an opinion at this time, because I need to see where it goes before I say anything.
I really need to stop reading this story because it depresses me every time
This is so sad :(
ooO Kay, I wasn't expecting the last part exactly. Has this action heightened his inner inu's desire to complete their mating? It would seem plausable for him to want to complete the mating completely, especially since she has thrown herself at him and said how sorry she was and asked for him to stay.
Maybe she finally allowed what the women were trying to tell her while he was holding her down. I hope for this anyway. I know many others will too though I haven't red any other reviews. Kagome has to have known that she must learn to accept her youkai's way of life when she became married to InuYasha and then that whole year with Sesshoumaru. He is not only a full blooded youkai, he is DaiYoukai and Lord, King of the Western land. Kagome isn't a stupid 15 year old anymore and at least she had 2 very caring female youkai that didn't want her to lose what she had with Sesshoumaru who has never felt love for anyone or thing, not even his own mother I don't think.
They need to complete the bond again and since the more intelligent side of Sesshoumaru believes they are mates and loves her that greatly to take all the crap she has dished out, maybe it's time to have them make a final decision as he doesn't have much longer before it's time to splitting of the dimentions.
Goodnight dear friend, thanks for finally giving me a story that I've had a hard time figuring out. Love ya! Kisses and gentle hugs. JEN
This may sound morbid by some, but I somehow feel relieved. She'll come to understand when she gives into the true reality of her own feelings and thoughts that she herself said she held no feelings toward the child, but because of always wanting one she couldn't kill it or allow Sessh to either. I just hope that she can be honest with herself, especially after listening to Sesshoumaru's explaination. Jun and Momo? I have to wonder over if he'll be lient and allow them to live. They are women, though youkai, and only looking out for their charge(and friend).
Could perhaps Sessh also detect an anomoly within the child that Kagome couldn't feel or possibly know? When Ko impregnanted her it was before he had given his fruit endorsed life essence to help her to live...could that act have done something to the child?
Anyway, I applaud this chapter and I must give you so much credit as being a mother yourself having to write such an agonizing chapter filled with such aghast and pain.
Hugs my friend and bows respectfully for such anamzing chapter. JEN
Megan (Chapter 35) - Fri 20 Feb 2015
I've just finally caught up again and oh the angst. But I'm really confused, about Ch 35; first paragraph the maids sense the baby's aura and it seems the baby is hanyou; then in the last paragraph the maids say the baby is now human. Then the following chapters run with the human baby. So eagar for the next chapter. Big thumbs up!
So sad, keep it coming.
Nilee1 (Chapter 38) - Thu 19 Feb 2015
Really, all he's been through to reach her, and he walks away. I'm not hopeful that this won't get even uglier. Looks like the monk wins.
DivaG (Chapter 38) - Thu 19 Feb 2015
Well, I understand that Kagome is hurting, but she even stopped to think if the situation was reversed and the baby were Sesshoumaru's child, Ko would have acted differently? I don't think so. He would do the same thing even being human, because in that time that's the way things worked. Sesshoumaru acted according to his instincts, but Ko would have acted according with his pride and beliefs. The problem is that she thinks like a modern woman, but lives in an old time, and she needs to adapt her mind to the reality in which she lives, if she hopes to achieve some happiness. Great chapter, and till the next.
