You know, in the hands of another writer, playing the "sick child" card might have seemed gratuitous, but you have done a lovely, sensitive job of it. Kagome donating her hair is so tender. I am truly enjoying this story. Thank you.
What a beautiful story! You've made me laugh and cry right along with Kagome and Sesshoumaru. Great job Caleesci! I'm looking forward to the rest of the story.
*Dreamy Sigh* This was PERFECT... just perfect. And, as it is waaayyy past my bedtime, like after 3am, it made an equally perfect 'bedtime chapter.' How could one NOT have sweet dreams after reading this? Thank you, so very much, for sharing this with all of us here!
:D

You're absolutely AMAZING!!!!! I straight out bawled in Chapter 3. I mean...tears were just flowing. It breaks my heart to know that this is actually someone's story in real life. There are actually parents out there struggling to help their kids and kids that suffer from illness. In short....again....you're AMAZING

This is such an amazing story!! How you convey the feelings of everyone makes you truly feel as if you are there. I love the chapters being so long as well!! :D Keep up the amazing work!!! xoxox
Thank you! Thank you! To both you and your Beta!! That was soooo beautiful!!!!! Her hair! That was one of the most beautiful moments I've ever read about! Simply gorgeous. Sighs.... I absolutely adore the way you tell a story! One simply gets lost in reading until the chapter ends always leaving you wanting more!
You gotta love the Locks of Love program. That was such a beautiful thing she did.
Ilia (Chapter 3) - Fri 25 Nov 2011
OMG...must update soon I am now officially addicted to this story. Please continue and Finish it!
Thanks
This is absolutely an amazing story! I've laughed and I've cried and I've smiled. You really do tell beautiful stories and I can't wait for chapter 3.
oh my gosh! i absolutely loooooove!
Update soon puhleeeeeeeeeeease :)
Another great chapter. The part with Rin missing her hair made me cry. Thank goodness Shippo was there to comfort her. Kags better be careful or she will fall out from working too much, and the kids need her.
I am soooo enjoying this delightful story thus far. Obviously, you have knowledge of leukemia and its effects on children - I only hope that your story is a happy one. My 3 year old grandnephew has leukemia and the battle has had its many ups and downs, as they often do. Your matter-of-fact presentation of the trials and tribulations encountered with this childhood-stealing disease is greatly appreciated!
The interaction between Sess and Kags is realistic, touching and heartwarming. Everything one could want in a holiday story! I am eagerly looking forward to future chapters!!!

A very sad yet sweet beginning. Please update soon love. Glad to know you're still around.
Ok, so I don't typically review, because well I'm too lazy to do so, but on this one I just had too. I am currently in tears right now do to you excellent writing. This is a beautifully well crafted story. I have been in tears all the way through and literally had to stop reading when it came to the part where Rin tell Kagome what she wants for Christmas. I started balling at the point and had to compose myself before I could finish reading. Please keep writing this story, I really want to see how it developes and ends.
