I mean, Hasu was a bitch, but then she's dead. I'm here thinking all sorts of way, although I knew pretty much who killed her, it's just, she was so important that it makes you wonder, wow, whatever Oka wants, it has to be so huge that she doesn't mind losing her biggest income you know? I mean it's okay to kill someone who didn't matter, but this is completely different. it's as if she's gambling completely everything.

I think it was nice to see everyone have a bit of sadness. No they didn't like who she was, and how she treated everyone, but she was not only their sister, but also a model. Her inside were crappy, but she was damn good at what she did. They respect what she represented, and I think that shows maturity and class. Of course, I still think she was a bitch, and I would have been like. Pfffttt... lol. Although she probably didn't deserve death.

It's really easy to see through Oka, when you know the truth, but when you don't I think she's a pretty good actress. I mean she clearly fooled everyone, except Kagome. And you know in the past, she would have been the first to put Kagome down, but now because she so desperatly need her, well, she is defending her against everyone. I mean, clearly some people should have noticed, but then again, argh. How do you become suspicious against Oka when you don't know nothing. I just want someone to point her out, that is not Kagome, lol.

Second of all, I hate those bitches, lmao. I'm sorry for using bitch so many times. It's just like, they lived with Kagome for a while right, and they were just growing up around her, and watched as everybody learned, and it pisses me off that they have so little bond. I mean everyone hated Hasu, and you know Kagome was so different, yet now that Hasu was dead, they don't mind just attacking sweet and innocent Kagome like that. How dare they? Like, they just want someone to blame, and they jsut go to the easiest one. They are cowards, and blinded.

I feel so sorry for Kagome because she has to go through all that by herself. Of course soon enough Oka will push her with Sesshomaru since you know, she wants that jewel, but nonetheless, they can't fully be themselves, and they will probably try to come up with something. I mean he is supposed to not want her anymore right?

When Kagome saw something on Hasu I was thinking it would be a binding or something, and I never expected it to be on leg. So I was thinking that Oka held her head under water or something like that. I guess I was wrong. Something that looked like vines? Ohmygod, you got my mind working. At first I was thinking Naraku, but he's supposed to be dead aint he? Then I thought, maybe Naraku killed the real Oka, and since we know he can take people's appearance, he transformed into her. Somehow he made it, and he's been disguising himself this whole time, and its why Kagome found herself there after everything. So it would explained the vines.

But I'm just throwing ideas out there.

I need MORE.

Currently, I have two theories.  So, I think we can guess pretty safely that Oka is the vine-lady.  I think she killed Hasu to help Kagome get closer to Sesshoumaru.  Also, I think Kagome's making a mistake giving the jewel to Yanagi.  For some reason, that shy and sweet facade suddenly has me wary...

Okay, Momiji is officially my new favorite geisha.  Seriously.

Oddly, I find myself comparing these characters to the ones of Memoirs of Geisha.  Yes, I know that book isn't really accurate, and it's nothing like this fanfiction.  Still, can't you see it?
Kagome = Chiyo/Sayuri
Hasu = Hatsumomo
Yanagi = Pumpkin (As said, I don't trust her.)
Oka = I don't even need to explain this one
Momiji = Mameha (Well, not really, but I like to think of it that way.)
Sesshoumaru = The Chariman

Even though the personalities aren't the same at all, the roles they play do remind me of it.

I don't know if I would count this as more being brought to light. In fact death is a very darkening thing. The answer to Hasu's death may just be in reach yet, although Kagome is still all alone in this. Sesshoumaru may be there but at the moment he is unreachable. Hopefully he checks in soon if the "prepatrator" is willing to kidnap, torture, and now kill to get what they want. Poor Hasu...she had a lot coming but she didn't deserve this. Hopefully Kagome will get everything that is due her as well :)

Bit of a cliffy again. I do hope you update soon, the wait in between kills me. I don't think I have been so on edge for another story ever. I love this story though, so even though the waiting is hard, it is worth it. Great job once again!

I SO never know what to expect in this story; that's why I love it so! There are so many twists and turns that it makes me sad when I reach the end of a chapter and have to wait for the next. I'm so glad that you've gotten over your writer's block; that can be a nasty little bugger....
