Even as a retired military veteran, I can not imagine how horrible combat must be. Especially hand to hand with swords. It has to affect your mind. Very nicely done. Beautiful chapter.

I just gotta stop in to let you know that I absolutely love all this. My favorite part is the authors notes at the end so I can tie it in to the story and It really makes it more real and interesting for me.  (I'm also tired, so use of exclamation points is not happening. Just imagine lots of them.  LOTS.)
