Please update soon, and maybe you should add a love rival for Sesshomaru to spice things up. Maybe once he sees Kagome  being friendly and happy with another guy he will finally just start a relationship with her.

O my dear Sesshomaru and Kagome. When will the two of you realise you both already love each other!

I think the two of them need to be put in a scenario where they almost lose each other to realise what they mean to each other. Perhaps a battle or something. It seems she needs to get out of her room and stop sulking and learn to apologise while she's at it. But maybe she feels so lost because Inuyasha was her only source of adventure and inspiration in this era and now that he's gone she doesn't feel the same. Maybe she just needs a source of relieving some of her aggression, like pulverizing an evil youkai in defense...just to reassure herself that she's still got it, you know boost her confidence and hopefully show Sesshomaru that she's not just a pathetic and  pitiful human female that he can subdue whenever he feels like. He will also need to compromise if he wants a piece of her...lol...anyways. I just love how you take them through their thought process, it's very convincing. Love it!

Okay, I don't know what I did. Somehow I wound up on chapter 10 and read that first thinking it was the beginning. I was on my phone and weird stuff happens sometimes. So yeah I read chapter 10 first and I still thought it was pretty awesome, thinking oh it's in medias res and it was kind of mysterious and exciting trying to guess what happened between them. Then I get to the end and I'm about to leave a review and I realize there's 9 more chapters ahead of it! So yeah, then I read them all really quick. I thought at first that I had spoiled it for myself, but it actually kind of worked, because I couldn't stop reading to find out what happened. So anyway, great story!

that chapter is very sad  to see that kagome does not surpass  death of inuyasha

You know, it seems that the both of them can't occupy the same space without attack one another. I agree that something big has to happen to unite this two, but it still seems to me that Kagome is the more uncomplying one here. They both are stuborn and pridefull, but the truth is that she is a guest in his home, and, until now, she has showed him no respect or gratitude. She can't admit that he may feel diminished by being compared to Inuyasha, although she never liked being compared to Kikyou. Kagome needs to rethink her actions, she is mourning all her losses, but it's not imply that everybody has to adapt to all her needs because of that; she has to adapt herself to her new reality, and, until now, she has  made no real effort whatsoever to accomplish it. Great chapter, as ever.

This is making me cry but i want more! im a big fan of angst.. update soon :)

I really don't see how she can manage to feel completely self-righteous.  If Inuyasha had ever uttered that type of comment to her in a similar situation she'd have been devastated and traumatized.  It made it sound like he was a stand in for InuYasha that would help her through a rough time.  If anyone was being turned into a whore it was Sesshoumaru in that moment.  She seems to forget that she's in his house and that he's a demon.  Constantly challenging him as if he was a human from her era will not resolve anything.  A simple apology while minimizing what she did won't cut it.  I'm not liking her that much right now.  I really hope she has a talk soon with someone that gives her better perspective and insight.  Having Sesshoumaru break and grovel to her as if she's an angel would be a disappointment. 

Now Im sad too, why Kagome?  he is a daiyoukai, how did she thnk he was gonna respond to that?

Thanks for your explanation on why she is there instead of edo or slayers village. I guess it's just baffling her behavior . I know she's grieving but she's the interloper here. She doesn't know that he made a promise to himself to take care of her so attacking his honor??!! even someone who is grieving would know how be thankful and appreciate when someone is doing a good deed. boy oh boy.

This time Kagome screwed up royally. She had to open her big mouth and compare Sesshoumaru with Inuyasha in a intimate moment, even knowing how he despised it in the past. And she calls it a mistake? It is what I call put it mildly, more like the mother of all mistakes. His reaction was totally justified, for nobody wants to be a replacement. Oh well, and just when Sesshoumaru was finally willing to accept his feelings for her and give it a try. Going after him only worsened the situation because she doesn't know when to keep her mouth shut and now things will be way more complicated between them. Great chapter.

i like it. But i hope kagome will not stay n broken by sess. She make mistake but don'T make her grovel for fogiveness. Let them both stay apart I dont know.  

Ok. um...WOW!!! This was really something. I know Kagome can be a little scatter brained at times but she just stood there half naked and called him back! She surely wasn't going to talk in that condition! lol Things seemed to be going really well until she opened her mouth to compare him to InuYasha. He had every right in the world to be furious with her for that. No one likes to be compared to another lover, especially not a sibling!

To make things worse she runs after him and provokes him into making him react hatefully. She caused this all on her own this time. I feel sorry for her. She should have known better but now she's going to have to work all that much harder to get him to talk to her. I'm not sure if she'll be able to salvage this. I assume a lot of grovelling might help.

I'm surprised Sesshoumaru had that much control. I would have figured his primal nature would have proven to her that her words of comparison where not true by taking her. I give Sesshoumaru a lot of credit for holding back. Any other being would have been either killed or taught a valuable lesson that they wouldn't soon never forget, but he gave her a choice again to stop him and she still got mouthy and then when he throws her down hard and she realizes that he's going to hurt her with sex, she begs him to stop. She needs a reality check. He's a full blooded Youkai and waaay stronger than she. Who does she think she is?

This will definitely impact any beginning of a relationship.  JEN

(sigh) I think Kagome was very wrong and that she's the coward here.  Instead of being truly accountable and acknowledging that this would turn off and anger anyone, she attacks.  Why would he want to be compared to InuYasha right after doing something that InuYasha had never done?  She should know how it feels to be compared with someone else.  I know he was harsh with her, but he's not human.  She has to stop looking for the line and feeling self-righteous in doing it. 

Ok...really intense chapter. You've done a really fantabulous job of expressing their emotions and feelings for each other and their situation. I somehow felt like Kagome deserved that little bit at the end. I mean come on! Give the guy a break already. He took you in and gave you everything and you go and compare him to Inuyasha! No male, human or Youkai would stand for that! I feel like Sesshomaru is just putting her in her place. I like that she still has her fighting spirit but there has to be some kind of compromise if their complex relationship is to work. Damn Kagome! Ruined it just as it was getting lemonier (yes that's a word in my vocabulary...lol)
