this was a disturbing chapter but it was very well written too.

I loved the psychology behind the attack. You rarely see that added in a story usually its just 'he's evil that's why'. You did a great job with a difficult scene. Take your time grieving, I'll take what updates I can get and pressure you during this trying time.

I'm still shivering. That was a darkly powerful chapter, disturbing, yes, but I understand that it furthers the plot along. It riles the reader to justice just as I imagine it will for Sesshoumaru and Kagome, considering their harrowing experience. I loved how you ended the chapter, with Sesshoumaru calling her Onee-san (although, randomly, doesn't that mean "older sister"?). That brought a tear to my eye. I don't think he gives himself enough credit with his ability to comfort. Just his implacable presence is enough for Kagome, and their developing closeness is a beautiful thing to behold. I really love how where you're going with this story. It's proving to be both epic and intimate. On a side note, my prayers are with you.

I, too, like their slowly building relationship. I'm a little puzzled, though. In the bathing scene, they could have covered the scent of blood with her bleeding elsewhere on her body from love bites or claw punctures. But I guess the real reason was that she was not ready to lose her virginity to her intended's brother. Of course, as usual, she forgives Inuyasha anything and everything. She forgets that she stayed faithful to him not knowing if she would ever see him again.

i really like what you are doing with this story, the way things are building up little by little. Will sess be honest with her in the next chap and tell her that he feel the same or will he try to hide it? Hm. Please please, I'm begging you, update as soon as you can, I can't wait to read more!!!

I much prefer the slow build up to the relationship you're do than the tactic others use of slap a little sudden lust in there and call it 'love'. I love how she's confused and embarrassed (very real reactions to an unusual situation) without making her hysterical and erratic. It's even better that she only has Sesshoumaru to confide in and is mature enough to do so instead of holding it all in.

I love how you're leading the character development and all the inter-relationship shifts. It's very realistic and deep. Very nice. I look forward to your next chapter!
