The chapter was long, but it was also definitely one of my favourites so far! Moar MinoruxKagura goodness! Chie approves. ;3

Also I LOVE Inu & Sesshy acting brotherly. And you really managed to bring the tentative bond foth while still keeping both true to themselves, so props for that! Luff!

I will not say much about the beginning most, which I saw before...but -

Ah - Inuyasha.  Sweet, broken Inuyasha.  Inuyasha who must learn many other things, who must heal himself in many other ways, before he can learn to love.  Before he can learn to *accept* love.  What a fool, what a lost little boy of a fool.  

And Sesshomaru - so honest, even with himself, that the truths that fade across consciousness do NOT fade for him, do not torment but strike at once and make theeir presence clear.  Are you think, big brother, that you came a day, an hour too late?  I am too...

But that is nothing to Kagura, who suffers a torment of which she cannot speak; and Minoru, who speaks too much, knows too little...That one is in hiding even from himself.  I hope he won't regret it, even though I know I he will.

ARRRRRGH!! THE CLIFFIE!!!!! I hate you so much! and yet I adore you (or at least your writing) ok so you definitely deserve all the accolades you get. It's a great story with a NEW spin on Sesshomaru's childhood. Which is quite refreshing. I love the way you handle everyone's realizations and LOVE the fake that Kagome's not a ditzy sexed up broad or a rampaging-I-am-an-island-super miko. Tho I am a bit confused as to when the story is supposed to take place - Miroku was mentioned but not Sango (I think) and Shippo hasn't been around for a while, so where'd he get off to? That said I'm definitely in it for the long haul! Thank you!

I wonder what Minoru has to say about that, when Inuyasha gets back and will Kagome return while he is with Kikyo?????

Such a smart Kagome mama.   Well of her, to notice and keep track of Kagome's pain, even if she an't alter or control it.  She has all the right concerns for a mother, and it pleases me greatly that she is smart enough to know why Kagome is running around Feudal Japan in a miniskirt.  The way she allows it is surprising on one level...and not, on another.  She's an experienced woman who knows that her daughter is falling for her first serious love - and by the time she realizes this and has a chance to really react, she's come to learn that Inuyasha isn't the type to take advantage of Kagome.  Far from it - he will never recognize her daughte's feelings, never respond the way she wants him to.  As much as she knows he's a good person, she can't forgive him for his casual and callous ignorance, his emotional mistreatment of her daughter.

Kagome's reactions please me in this chapter too, because she has been made aware of her foolishness and is free with admitting it to the one person she can always trust. 

Really really really excellent chapter on so many levels - and go mama, including Little Rin XD

I finally started following this again at the worst possible moment in time but it's sooooo good and hard to resist. Love Sesshoumaru and that cute eagle by the way but the miko trumps all personalities :) 

Yes!  Yes, the hero should be doing hero-y stuff!  I wonder what she will come up with!

YAY!  He HELPS!  Mostly by accident, but...who cares?  HE HELPS!  Poor Kagome...she's got so many issues, and ninety percent of them can be tracked back to Inuyasha, but at the same time she's the one who allowed herself to get so drawn into his little drama angst issue.  Going for the guy who says you look like his dead girlfriend whose soul you happen to share is just not the way to find happiness...not at all not at all.

She needs more than a new wardrobe; hopefully Minoru and Sesshomaru are up to the task!

I think you handled that wonderfully! Minoru was able to tell the truth, get her to see reason, and all without having to shove it down her throat. Bravo!

An excellent chapter as always, and it focuses on one of the things that has always annoyed me most about Kagome.  Not just her ridiculous garments, which are a foolerly all by themselves, but the fact that her self-esteem, her self-worth, everything about her herself seems to hinge on what Inuyasha thinks about her.  Kudos for giving her an actual reason, bad though it is, to wear a miniskirt around feudal japan in all elements and seasons...::snickers::  Kagome should be grateful that Minoru is not such an idiot that he says "to hell with it" and decides that looking at her legs is more fun than instructing her on what an idiot she's making of herself.  I wonder just what she's going to do with all that cloth...

Grrr I'm getting tired of how the guys keep looking down on Kagome. Other than that, I love this story! And I know this is supposed to be Sessh/Kag, but I don't think a little romance between Minoru and Kagome would hurt. :)
