Beautifully written. The emotions and developments were well conveyed despite details being a a little off, like the use of USAF ranking instead of RAF rankings. I personally found the knighting to be over the top but it was enjoyable nonetheless. I would have liked to hear more about how the barony turned into earldom. I loved how Sesshomaru came home with no pomp or ceremony especially since he disliked it so much.

And I don't know if it was meant that way or not, but Chapter four is repeated in the beginning of Chapter five, and I almost missed the new part of the story that came afterward in the bottom of Chapter Five.
| As much as I like this fiction, it kills me a little inside to see the avoidable mistakes. For example, instead of "its", you've used "it's" several times. Similarly, you've used the wrong form of your/you're more than a few times. Sometimes, you even use nonexistent words to change an existing word's tense; like "drug" instead of "dragged". Also, I've noticed unnecessary periods where there should be semicolons, or, at the very least, comas. It makes me cringe, though I'm urged to keep reading by the endearing plot. Please do have a reliable beta in the future to preclude these kinds of errors.

I loved, loved, loved it!! What a wonderful idea for a story and it was beautiful to see how the relationship slowly progressed and changed from practically strangers, to friendship, to love!! Well done, it willl be a story I read more then once!
Woah. This story, is amazing. I'm so glad you decided to do a bit of self-promotion, I loved this piece in its entirety.
During the last five chapters or so I was basically biting my nails. I was certain that the fated chapter 29 was going to have a letter from the military service, telling Kagome that Sesshoumaru was dead in duty. But, then again, I'm a sucker for tragedy. This story really touched my heart, it honestly gripped me by my collar, shook me and demanded my attention. Half-way through watching Riverdance I found myself pondering what was going to happen next. In short, I adored it.
Now, time for the improvement things. Chapter four was repeated in chapter five (it took me a while to figure out that there was more to chapter five than chapter four). Occaisonally you'd use 'sense' when it should have been 'since'. Sess called the Nazis the Naxis a couple of times, a typo? A few times I spotted an ' 's ' being used instead of a ' s ' at the end of a verb, mostly used when trying to refer to a 'Nazi' as a plural. Also, a bit of a lingo hint, Kagome called her mother 'Mom' in her letters a few times. We British/British Colony peeps call our mothers 'Mum'. Mumsie, Mummy, etc.
In short I adore this story. It's just amazing, the characters aren't OOC, the romance was believable... Kudos.

Wow, this was fantastic. I'm so happy over the end, of course they would be together, and everything would be alright, but it's just so nice getting to read just how it happens.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! :) I am so glad that you did not kill Sesshomaru or Kagome. I was so worried that you would. Most war stories are like that. But your story is a gem among rocks. A ray of sunshine among a dark cloudy day. It tugged at my heart, and I felt myself falling deeper and deeper in love with your story with every chapter that I read.
