Ugh, I'm not really one for domestic violence (either in RL or in fics), so I hope Kagome is removed from IY's presence VERY quickly.  Obviously Sesshoumaru has attacked IY numerous times before without thinking twice about the consequences; I say he finishes the job. :)

So Inuyasha has gone crazy! LOL I can't wait to see what happenes next. That was a great chapter, keep up the good work!

Somehow a piece of Naraku is alive in Inuyasha and it's slowly taking him over.  Why can't she sense something not him in his aura?  And with a greeting like that tells Sesshoumaru and Kagome as to how he will be treating her as soon as he gets her home.  Sesshoumaru just can't let her go home to that even if she's willing.  If she's conceived, I don't want Inuyasha to kill it.

I have just now finished chapter 2 and had to pause to review. I normally wait until I'm caught up, to leave a review so that I can offer any helpful tips. As a writer myself I always appreciate advice and constructive critiques, so I try to offer the same. Anyways, I just had to say I'm just absolutely in love with this story... you've taken a familiar plot, but changed it up and made it original. I loved how Sesshomaru had made the little home with thought of Kagome in mind... he certainly isn't a very verbal demon, but he IS demonstrative. I also appreciate the reality of Kagome's situation. You haven't turned her in to some simpering weak beaten woman, but at the same token you are being responsible about how you are portraying domestic violence. I think the message here is that even STRONG women can be victums, and the situation isn't always isn't always so obvious... Inuaysha's abuse is coming on gradually from being too rough, and could be mistaken as not knowing his own strength but you make it clear that IS abuse all the same and SHOULD NOT be tollerated. Bravo!!!

Awesome chapter!  I'm on the edge of my seat with suspense.

And the Sess/Kag action is REALLY hot...

so...would their kid still be the heir to the Western Lands? If the birthmarking of the moon is genetic and shows the heir I doubt it'll matter that much that Sesshomaru was supposed to give the kid up...kid would still be the heir probably...

hmmm...wonder if Sesshomaru can kill Inuyasha if he tries to hurt the child...while in the womb or not.

hmmm...bet Kagome would technically matter if she was carrying at the time.

then again...maybe Sesshomaru could off Inuyasha or have someone do it for him.

hmm...will the council make Sesshomaru provide Inuyasha with more offspring or just the one?

I hope Inuyasha get's his in the end...actually I pray that he does, and I hope that the council finally does something in the favor of Sesshoumaru and Kagome, I don't want to see their puppy getting hurt because Inuyasha is a d'bag.

You have to come up with something to get her away from Inuyasha.  I don't want her in his bed or even near him anymore.  I fear he'll start to really beating on her now and even abuse her sexually.  The council is very pitiful if they can't enact laws to protect one of their females.  Even though Kagome is human, she's now one of them since her spouse is an inuyoukai even if he is just half.  I thought their females were precious to them and, therefore, to be protected.  Also, they can't know everything.  There has to be some ancient and unused laws pertaining to this.

I still haven't figured out if Inuyasha marked her not.  In her mind, she used the term married while they use the term mate which would be used even if they were just married by human law.  If she's not actually marked, that could work in her favor.  Maybe the council is working under the assumption she was marked.  If not then the laws would not pertain to her and Sesshoumaru could take her from Inuyasha.

I know I'm grabbing at anything I can to help them before Inuyasha really hurts her and the baby.  I just hope he doesn't cause her to miscarry.  I think if he really hurt her, Sesshoumaru would kill him or attempt to and be damned to the laws.
