Lol... poor Kagome. Who could resist Sesshoumaru? I understand her blushes lol.
Oh, that was cute.
So, so, sooooooooososososoosoosososososo cute.
I mean it. That was adorable. The way you described Sesshoumaru's reaction, UGH.
It was lovely. Great job.
Patricia (Chapter 3) - Wed 09 Jun 2010

Rikayu (Chapter 3) - Wed 09 Jun 2010
*sing-song voice* You know you liiiike her~ Why don't you saaaay it~ Cause we know you liiiiiike her~ Why don't you just saaaay it~
LOL. The interaction between the two of them is so adorable. Bickering and bickering. Such husband and wife already!
Can't wait for the next update~~
Ambra (Chapter 3) - Wed 09 Jun 2010
A bit cliché, but definetely interesting!
And moreover, you write so well...
Keep going! ^_^
Thanks for explaining Kagome's current behavior and for giving a short summary of the type of story you are writing. She does tend to have a temper and Sesshoumaru has a knack for setting it off.
Wow, unless that place is small, I have no idea how she is going to manage all of those chores. Maybe Sesshoumaru is testing her?
Aw, I wonder if he gave Kagome the hairpin because it was tradition, or because he wanted her to have it. Also, I wonder whose kimono she is wearing. That raises other questions. Is his mother dead? Or are they estranged? Hmmm.
Don't answer any of my questions! I'll wait for the answers inside the story. ^_^
I have a question: Is the ryoken like a bed in end?? It sounds like it but Im not sure.. O_O The chpt was great! Thanks for updating! I really like how you protray Sesshomaru in this story. He actually smirked alot in this chpt I thought that wasnt possible for "him". Anywho thanks for the update. Be waiting for the next one! ^O^
I really love how this story is flowing. I can't wait until the next chapter.
Very interesting...I wonder what he expected to see once he gave her his mother's kimono and hairpin? By your description, I can actually see Kagome and I would probably would be surprised to see that this girl transformed into a lovely grown woman. He obviously didn't want to like what he saw and he definitely didn't want to her to make more of it than it was, but he definitely felt something when he saw the finished result.
You also haven't gone overboard with Kagome's first day. You have a perfect balance when describing the scenes and the characters in them, giving just the right amount of information without rambling on about things that really aren't necessary just to fill up space. I have a great respect for how you put forth just enough about each character so we know what they are like and can identify with them. As for keeping the original characters in character, sometimes it's good just to change them alittle to fit the storyline you want to use them in. You also do this with great success.
So, MissTeak, do what you do best and entertain us. You have the Gift! JEN
I feel sympathy for her. She's got a cold-fish for a psuedo husband and an run down inn to manage all in one fell swoop. Her emotional state is probably in as much disarray as her mental. Sess is about as helpful as a leach. All good things take time though.
Great chapter MissTeak! I definitely want to know what happened to Sess's mom and everything and why he doesn't talk about it. Can't wait to see what you come up with next! :)
Hm, I don't think my review went through, so, on to it then! You have got Kagome and Sesshoumaru so in character. Not much has changed...except for the poison claws. LOL I like Kagome's determination and Sesshoumaru's usual reticence to speak. Personally, I think his insults are his sense of humor. Hopefully, after she gets over the culture shock, she'll find a way to deal with his eccentricities.
Hn's and ghosts, indeed! I look forward to the next installment. ^_^
Yay!!! I finally got to read this chpt. When I got the email saying you updated I was in the middle of studying for finals. I have to say I have to have my brother hide my laptop. I so.. wanted to read this chpt. I better passed that stupid test since I couldnt read your chpt till today. Anyway, great chpt!! Be waiting for the next one!!! ^o^
Besides the constant bickering, that was rather sweet.
You've now completed step one on the Road to Loving Kagome, Sesshoumaru:
Respect the noisy woman.
hehehe...it's so cute that she's soooo naive and he is still a cold fish. I once managed a bed & breakfast for a year - it was the hardest job I ever had to do. I can symphatize for them both.
Patricia (Chapter 2) - Mon 07 Jun 2010
wonderful start! you writing is beautiful as always and this story looks like its gonna only get better. cant wait for the next update!
fatcatmom (Chapter 2) - Mon 07 Jun 2010
The challenge has been laid down! Can't wait to see how this develops. Like a Japanese version of 'Faulty Towers' with Sess as a less emotional version of Sybil and Polly and Kagome as both Basil and Manuel. Bring it on!
