This is quite predictament all these people are in. For once someone wrote a story where ALL the characters are basically good and likable people but are just caught up in this situation all because one couldn't do the right thing by the women he claimed to love. I honestly think though, that Sesshoumaru is the main key in this and that IF he would just say SOMETHING to Father about this, even on InuYasha's behalf so he doesn't appear to be the villian OR go to Kagome and confess his love for her and IT being the reason he refused her calls because he could no longer stand in the middle of what they both knew was wrong in the first place and let Kagome see all these years he said nothing because he wanted her happiness.Then tell her InuYasha's IS going to marry Kikyou and she is pregnant, maybe she'll finally find the strength to see that she was just fooling herself into believing that one day she and InuYasha would marry. I feel for all these good, loving women in this and when it all hits the fan, there's going to be alot of hurt that could and should have been pervented long ago.

You know, Miss Teak, you have a grand talent for weaving these heartwrenching love stories and getting your readers so caught up in the lives of the characters. I been wondering though, are you going to complete the other stories that aren't finished? I'm just so in love with your fics and would love to read the endings. JEN

Awesome chapter, it was a nice treat to see what was going on inside all of their heads--specially Kagome's. :)

Oh, my! What an incredibly sad and painful chapter (not to read, feelings I mean). All because Inuyasha is one of those guys who can't let go for fear of "what if".

I can understand how this chapter is overall disruptive to the flow of the story because the story is all from Sesshoumaru's viewpoint, but still, it was well-written and it was nice to see the girls' viewpoints. It made me more sympathetic towards Kikyo and Kaguya.

I loved, LOVED, this chapter and I think you did a wonderful job. It's great to see the thoughts on everyone else. Ok so as much as I want to see Inuyasha get his just dessert, my question is, should he be the only who will ultimately suffer? If Sesshy eventually gets with Kagome, and Kikyo leave Inuyasha's sorry behind, is it completely fair? I mean both her and Kagome were cheating with their eyes wide open and both knew of the potential consequenses, so why should he be the only one who will suffer? He should've been honest with Kagome and Kikyo, and Kagome, should've been woman enough to know what she was doing was wrong and should've walked away from it all, before it got to this point. Knowing that after 3 years he wasn't going to leave Kikyo to be with her, and the way she took Sesshy for granted for so long even though she knew his feelings for her, is just wrong and I just can't bring myself to feel anything more than disgust and dismay with her.

In all honesty, I personally don't want Kikyo to find out. Not because I want a cheater to get away from it, but I can see Sesshy's reasoning on why he didn't say anything for so long. If the truth do come out, all parties will be hurt. The family would never accept Kagome into their mix, knowing what she did for as long as she did and wouldn't want her anywhere knew Sesshy. I think it personally seeing Kagome move on from him and go to his brother and having to see that in his face for the rest of his life, would be more painful and just rewards for him.

But then again, I don't think I want this to still be a Kag/Sess story. I'm more inclined for a Kagu/Sess story because there are too many hurts that's been done and there are somethings that just unforgivable and what Kagome did to him and Kikyo is exactly that.

Kikyou is blissfully unaware. She should listen to that sixth sense. The relationship between Kaguya and Sesshoumaru is starting to fall apart. Bit by bit. Kagome is beginning to see the error of her ways. Good for her. She's learning. And Izayoi is just plain oblivious. Somehow, that doesn't surprise me. All this man trouble and these girls are stuck in the middle of it. But I'm glad Kagome is finally seeing what she's been doing wrong. Now the question is - how will she and Sess get back together? And what to do about that two-timing loser, InuYasha?

DANG IT! The thing ate my review. Anyway, I admit publicly that I was totes wrong about the change of POV. It really worked marvelously. And I like that we get a look into the thoughts of all four ladies. I was particularly touched by Kaguya's section. It broke my heart a little to see her try so hard a second time, knowing that she'll lose. And it's great to see Kagome finally see Sesshoumaru for the gem he is. Any girl would be lucky to have a man who is as kind and devoted as he is in this story, and I speak from experience. I gots me a man just like Sesshoumaru in this story, and it's pretty much the best thing ever. I'm a lucky, lucky girl. Anyway, Inuyasha isn't that great. Blah. ^_~ I can't wait to see what agony you have cooked up for the next chapters. I'm sure you'll put Kags through some more torture -- after all, sometimes life really is like my favorite Japanese proverb -- it's only after the rain that the ground hardens. *nodnod*

I really do like your story, would it be cruel to say I still hate Kagome?  She is being such a few choice words, that are very rude. I don't think that Kagome should wind up with Sesshoumaru, she doesn't deserve him, at all.

Ok so thanks for making me want this to bea  Kaguya/Sess story now. You've completely won me over to her side. lol. Honestly I loved this chapter. It's great to see the insights from everyone and I just feel so bad for Kikyo and Kaguya. They don't deserve what's happening to the both of them.

you are so perceptive, you know so much about human nature, at such a young age...  it makes your writing special, as does your expressive way with words...  this was a great chapter.

Ah! i love this fic dearly. I'm sorry but Kagome is pissing me off. She should be the one coming after Sesshoumaru and not the other way around- I understand she was trying to call him but come on, after she said what she did what could she expect? He was there for her so many times and she left him hanging on and now that he's trying to move on she decides to hang up on him...how stupid. She got a reality check when she saw the two on tv and what she said annoyed me, did she not think that he would move on? He couldn't keep living life like that. I actually think Sesshoumaru was in the right to get revenge like that- now she knows how he feels. She needs to get over herself immediately. Now i'm done ranting lol

I think that kaguya should brake it off with Sesshomaru and they sould be friends.

Maybe she could find someone who has his focus only on her.She is an innocent in this too. She shouldn't be made a "bag guy" in this.

Ok, I'll be honest and say that my first thought when reading that last line was, "Bitch!" but I don't really hate Kagome. Hate is too strong a word but neither do I pity her. I do hate Inuyasha though-what a selfish child he is! I can't believe he told her that it was just a company dinner! If he really wanted to hurt her and set her up in the most humiliating way, he couldn't have done it better. As for Kaguya, she's shallow and a bit spoilt but I don't hate her. She's an innocent party in my eyes since although she obviously knows Sesshoumaru loves another, she hasn't lied, cheated or forced anyone into an unwanted relationship. I can't wait for it all to come out - I hope Inuyasha is left a lonely man. I'm in agony from the anticipation!!!
