Oh man that was tough...  Being beaten daily or telling yourself this is the lesser of two evils by having sex to wear him out is an instinct to protect the babe.  Though life is never roses and diamonds we live how we can manage until the time when come close to breaking and leaving that life behind.  Sometimes we find ourselves worthless that no one would want someone like ourselves.  But to find a love so out of reach that could have saved the family she lost or kept her from being with the man who'd eventually kill her.  I'd say it'll be a long day of regret for the both of them coming to terms and eventually loving each other and starting a new life.  So one day her ex will cross her path again so he could try to beat her or expose Sesshomaru for what he is so he could ruin her marriage and life once again.  Update soon can't wait to read more.

This story is written beautifully. You can feel both of their pain, especially in this chapter. I feel so horribly for both of them - Kagome for the family and child she lost, as well as her loneliness, and Sesshomaru for feeling like he is a coward and that he should have done more. They are exactly what each other needs, especially now. I know all to well the desire for a baby, after dealing with infertility for the last 6+ years. And while I have not experienced abuse or miscarriage, I feel Kagome's pain acutely here. I look forward to seeing how they mend and develop their relationship, and hopefully learn that their experiences will make them stronger together.

Wow. .. I cried Kagome. Felt amazing she could tell story twice in one day! Such amazing chapter. So ready for more. This was so thoughtful and in love with this story.

Phew! I am so happy that Kagome is safe and she had a good talk with her mother-in-law. I was half convinced that she would just run blindly in the snow and eventually get lost or hurt herself or something. Now she needs to have a talk with Sesshomaru too - maybe she will finally start healing then. Thank you so much for this lovely story!

Oh that was a wonderful chapter loved it....  At least Kagome is safe,   Now her mother in law knows what happened and now Kagome can heal with Sesshomaru's help....  Hope the man bugs Kagome like I said in an earilier review so Sesshomaru can get some justice for Kagome and a peace of mind for him.

Good that Kagome reached out to talk to  Sesshomaru's  mother  for help.   Now she can stop blaming herself for what happened to her baby.   Can not wait to see what Sesshomaru will do to her ex.

Oh my gosh this story is unreeeeeeaaal! ???????? The angst, the love, the patient, the agony, the heartache, I feel it all like it is my own. The character development is believable, the non-dialogue enjoyable and dialogue poignant. Everything feels purposeful, every line and every word. I seriously haven't read such a well crafted story in sometime,  can't wait for more ????

Oh no, I hope nothing happens to her before Sesshomaru is able to track her (good thing that he is a dog demon, shouldn't take him too long). Good thing that he now knows her secret - but it is his turn to be honest now! 

Oh no Kagome thinks he doesn't want her because he ran off....  Men are idiots sometimes....  Hopefully he finds her and tells her the truth so she can forgive herself and move on.
