Holy bonkers! This story is way too cool! Please continue it! I found your adventure map on DA and followed the link to this site. Now I'm glad I did. I'll bookmark this page and wait for an update. You should post this fic on DA. I'm sure lots of people would read it!

Here, we learn more about Sesshoumaru. That is, your Sesshoumaru, and the life he has led. That's my favorite part about fanfiction, I think. Everyone interprets characters a little different in each story and each setting. I like that you show a responsible and dutiful side to him while still making it clear that he's a ruthless youkai.

The little girl that follows him reminds me a lot of the "cat that always came back". Her powers are strange and mysterious. I have a feeling that we haven't see all of them yet. You did bring up a topic that I was wondering about for a long time. What do youkai eat? I know that most like to eat people, I guess, but I like your explanation of it a lot. It seems right for Sesshoumaru to hate the taste of human blood considering how much he hates humans themselves. 

The scene with the deer near the river was riveting. I could really feel Sesshoumaru's frustration and the girl's determination in all this. She doesn't speak much, which means that every word she says is crucial in showing off her character. You did so well in capturing that and her body language too.

None of this feels rushed. It's moving along at a good pace. I would think that Sesshoumaru wouldn't readily accept the girl as a traveling companion, especially since we saw earlier that he would rather travel the land alone. Like in the last chapter, you've left me wanting to know more, so off to Chapter 2 it is!

Until people get to know me here, I think I'm going to disclaimer this in my reviews to avoid hurting any feelings:

The next comments that I'm going to make are intended only to help and never to flame. I review novels and short stories for magazines as part of a side job. I really enjoying doing it, but sometimes I can be a little overcritical. You should remember that each reviewer sees your story differently, and even when one likes or dislikes it, another make also do the same. Take all advice with a grain of salt and make your own judgment of what is right for yor and your style of writing :)

I've decided to leave a review of each chapter as I read it because I must say that your story absolutely blew me away. Amount of reviews isn't something one should use to judge the quality of a story. There are many writers who have unbelievable talent and remain unnoticed and underappreciated for their entire careers. I've seen it happen. That said, you should not let yourself be intimidated by other stories that may have more reviews. I've read novels that are best sellers that I wanted to burn the moment I was done with them.

You work hard on your story, and it's plain as day. I know reviews are important to writers, but don't let their absence fool you into thinking that your work isn't loved and appreciated.

Now, about the story itself. Honestly, there isn't anything I can think of off the top of my head that you can improve here. Your narrative is astounding, your dialogue is sparse but meaningful, your imagery is stunning, and your writing feels very mature and natural. You are an articulate writer with a gift for weaving both common and uncommon words into unique and interesting sentences.

Your characters come to life. We mostly saw Sesshoumaru in this chapter, but Inuyasha and his companions showed a grief and sadness that felt real and painful. I can't imagine that Inuyasha would have let Kagome do what she did, but knowing her, there was probably nothing he could have honestly done short of locking her in a cage. The story doesn't comment on their relationship, so we still don't know how close they are. We don't know what happened to the well or why Kagome chose to stay in this world (assuming she made that choice). I'm sure all of this information will be revealed as the story goes on.

The begining sentence in this chapter was powerful and gripping. It caught my attention and kept it throughout the entire piece. The end of this chapter was shocking and surprising. A child coming out of the fire wasn't what I was expecting, and the way you described her was absolutely beautiful. I love how we are given a window into Sesshoumaru's thoughts in a subtle yet exceptionally detailed way. I can't wait to see what happens next.

I have so many emotes to shove into this review, but the site will probably just gobble them ups. KYAAAAA! Sess! You're redeemed in my eyes...at least a little. He's still a selfish and greedy bas****. And this kid. God this kid is like the cutest thing. Is she psychic? Or just really intuitive? THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION IS - IS SHE KAGOME????????? I mean, I guessed she prolly is, but how long is she going to stay a kid? Unless you plan on having her grow up with him. That'd be kinda cool. And Susumuuuuuu....the way she wants to grab his tails. OMG PLEASE DO A FANART OF HIM! I imagine him as this subtle and delicate looking guy with hidden strength that he doesn't want to show people. And the kid said he was sad. Why is that? Are you goinng to tell us? I can't art to save my life but I want to see Susumu come to life...

I have so many ideas about what this evil guy might be planning, but I dunno if I'm right or not. I'll give you tons of cookies if you write more ASAP pretty please with a cherry on top. Now back to work from lunch break.

I still haven't made an account on this site. Probably should, but I'm so very lazy. I was soooooooooooo impressed with this chapter. So many well thought out details and mysterious pieces are coming together. Mostly, I was just so fangirl happy to see Sess FINALLY giving in and taking care of the girl. I'm so glad that they're gonna travel together now!!!!! What's this power his dad was telling him about? What's this Katashi dude planning? And the stone thingy...hmmm....so much to look forward to! We're entertaining for New Year's tonight, but I left all the work to my BF because I wanted to finish reading this fic. I also just figured out what those buttons on the side are for (add to faves etc.). This chapter was so awesome. I really really really liked to read your style of writing from Sess's POV. And this girl is so adorable. I think she might be Kagome (I mean, it would make sense considering the pairing) but what happened to her and why is she like this? Sess wants to kill her, but he can't. Bad Sess :( And OMG the scene with the deer, where she touches his face *falls into fangirl mode*

I'm very excited to see you back! We all have aged and gotten a little bit more wiser with life skills. So I'm very happy to see you rewriting this story. It was one of my favorites back in the day and we all love to see our favorites come back and be improved!

I've only just made my account, so this will be my first official review for any stories on this site. After you told me that you were writing this, I knew I had to read it. I'm so psyched just from this first chapter. It's ungodly late here so I've got to head to bed, but I'll read the rest tomorrow. Like always, I'm pulled into world and into the feelings that all your characters experience. I can't wait to see how you put this all together into a comic. I'm sure that it's going to be amazing both written and drawn. Just please don't make it super tragic like your Dragon Age novel!

Don't let your fears get to you. Self-confidence is hard to find for everyone. I know it definitely is for me. If you ever feel down about your art and writing, remember that somewhere out there there's at least a few people who look up to you and want to reach your level of skill. I'll give in and say that I'm one of those people. I wish I could art and write like you. So don't give up!

Another chapter already?! Wow! And here I thought I'd have to wait a while. This was a really loaded chapter. Lots of plot development and hooks and such. I'm srsly interested in who this Katashi dude is. And is it bad that I want to beg you to draw Susumu now? I have this picture in my head of a super hawt fox dude. But seriously, I hope Sess gets it together and figures out that he needs to help this girl. Dunno what she is, but he needs to get over his pride and at least let her ride his floof all over the place. Pls update soon!!

Beautiful, incredible, astounding, and amazing writing as always. There are so many details in each and every one of your paragraphs. It's like I can totally see this world that you're describing right in front of me. Kinda like watching a movie. This plot feels so different from other stories that I've read in this fandom (and you know I'm pretty obsessed with Mr. Fluff). ?*´??*?

Your writing of Sess is absolutely perfect. You captured his personality flawlessly, and I think that had he been placed in this kind of situation, he would have reacted exactly like you wrote.If this is going to be on the level on Tenebris, then I'm guessing there's going to be a lot of FEELS that will most likely put me into a beautiful coma.
