Kirara, I think. It seems like she's viewed more as a pack horse than as a fighter, but she works just as hard as everyone else.

In the manga, why didn't Kouga show up at the final battle with Naraku?

My thoughts are that Takahashi was finished with the character. Everyone who battled Naraku had a real reason to be there and Kouga's reason to fight Naraku died with Kagura's end. She killed his kinsmen and so with her gone, there isn't much purpose for him to risk his hide. He accepted that Kagome would never become his woman, so really he had no reason to be there. I think if Takahashi really wanted to, she would have found a way to include him. But considering how rushed the actual ending was, I doubt she had time to find room for him.


Whose personal history would you have liked to have seen more of? (Sesshoumaru not included)

Inu-papa. I would like to have seen anything about his past in the manga, not just his bones, or his freaky friends!

OMG me neither. I would have had Kagome not return and run into Sesshomaru the only living demon left to tell her how her friends lived.

1)I would have elaborated on the relationship between Kagome and InuYasha more...I found it hard to accept that she just walks back to the Feudal Era and bang-chit-bang everything's fine with them. The Kiyko issue and InuYasha's stand and commitment to Kagome (do they marry, do they mate, do they live as sinfully as sinful can get?) really needed to be cleared up...if not, at least an admission of love or something more concrete than what Takahashi gave us. Sorry, lady, you rock, but a side-lined "Onii-san" just isn't fulfilling enough.

2)How exactly did Rin end up with the Scooby gang? Again, a little sidestory there...I'm sure she didn't leave her Sesshoumaru-sama too chirpily. Now that could have been an interesting conversation...plus it would have gone far towards bringing Sesshoumaru's character to light.

3)Sesshoumaru himself. What the hell does bloody go through his god-awful mind anyway? His relationship with his brother's guts isn't a very healthy one - he's always wanting to get up close and personal with them, we all know. So why should he suddenly up and leave his little doll with them? Takahashi's hints lead us to believe it's coz she had miko powers. So how come they show up now, and never during the rest of the 500-something chapters previous? Not that the lady did show them to us anyway....blah. Also, His character needed to more development, it hadn't come full cirle...plus we didn't get to find out just what he's gonna do now that the whole saga is over....wasn't he supposed to set up an empire or something? Maybe he's on an extended sabbatical?

4)Kagome's mother..how does she take the loss of her baby girl?

5)Many many more itty-bitty things nudging the back of my brain..but I think this is it for now.

Now that the serious critique is over....to business.

1)I'd send InuYasha to hell, with Kikyo..dog demons never break promises you see...especially pinky promises. Not even the hybrids do it. Goes against genetics.
2)I'd have Kagome attend medical school, get a degree, get a life. Get a very annoying Hojo on the side.
3)The hospital would be owned by Sesshoumaru. Duh. Even K-9's need to go charity-ing away, or els someone might accuse them of stealing the kennel.
4)Romance romance romance. So cliched, and so good. Get creative:

Hojo and Kagome sitting in a tree;
He wants to kiss her, she dosn't agree;
Along comes a puppy;
He does some serious damage;
And poor trashed Hojo sells videos of Jaken pushing the baby carriage!

Ok i looked it up i quite sad the japanese wolf is beleived to be extinct since 1905. Panthers are not from japan but i believe when they were in the anime they had come from the continent. But i'm not sure.
