Yes!! No way I'm missing out on it this year! Two years of missed deadlines is two years too many! lol.

It's that time of year again and that means it's time to start signing up for the Dokuga Holiday Exchange! As you may have noticed, the exchange is under new management this year as Momo-chan has asked me to take over due to her busy RL this year. However, the same rules apply as they have the last few years and hopefully she'll be able to pick it back up next year since I'm sure ya'll will miss her leading this like I will .

Sign ups are open from August 4th – September 30th!

Hairann, I just read the updated guidelines and in the section where it says "If you're new to the exchange, please provide a link to a story that you've written that is more than 1,500 words."

Is that a total of 1,500 words or a single chapter containing that word count? And is that something we need to e-mail to you now, since I've already sent in my sign up form?

Ummm do we sign up here or on live journal?

Total of at least 1500 that's not a drabble collection. One-shot or chapter story is fine. And yes have to send it in if your new to the exchange even if you've already been approved on the email. I screwed up and didn't see Momo-chan's post of new things to add this year before I posted the rules.

Via e-mail. Go to the LJ link to read the info, and you'll get the form there and the e-mail address. Make sure you read the rules beforehand as well

From there you e-mail the form to the designated e-mail address.

Just follow the instructions from the link, it's pretty straight forward. Read the rules. Send a link for one of your stories that's over 1500 words, for first time participants, and send the code word to the email address listed. If you have any question passed this, please let me know. I'm more than happy help you through the process .

xD I was going to ask, where the heck do I send it..or do I post to that thread. Because the instruction page that I went to, didn't actually say how to sign up.. But I guess based on your last comment, that I just send it to the gmail email?

Today is the last day to sign up for the holiday exchange this year. We have a pretty decent turn out so far, but there is still time for others to sign up if you haven't already.

For those who have already signed up, names and prompts will be sent out tomorrow, Oct 1st. A participation banner will be added later on closer to the due date of the stories. And I just want to say thank you to everyone who signed up this year, or will do so by the end of the day, and a special thanks to those willing to be pitch hitters.

Gah! I barely missed the sign up date! That's okay though. =] I'll participate next year for sure! It looks like so much fun! And a great way to bond with other members. =]

Sorry you missed the date, but yes there is always next year . And the sign up should always be around September so it should be easier for you to know when to look for it next year .

Note: Not bumping, have actual new information to post and didn't see the point of making a new thread .

I have officially started posting the gifts on the livejournal site Dokuga Exchange and will be posting two a day until they are all posted; about the 30th. If you have a moment, please stop by and check out the amazing stories and artwork that will be being posted over the next week.
