A weekly challenge using the birthstone list. I would love to see what the great fanfic minds can come up with this list.

Traditional Birthstones

(stone's name = word count)

Garnet = 100
Amethyst = 200
Bloodstone, Jasper = 300
Diamond, Sapphire = 400
Emerald, Agate = 500
Alexandrite, Emerald = 600
Ruby, Onyx = 700
Sardonyx, Carnelian = 800
Sapphire, Peridot = 900
Tourmaline, Aquamarine = 1000
Citrine, Topaz = 1100
Zircon, Ruby = 1200

This sounds soo interesting. I just wanted to know if the word count was the minimum or absolute. Also if the stones are in order from Jan to Dec. I wanna do this but it may be a little while

OK. First I want to say, so sorry!!! I have been having alot going on in my life and things have been packed so I need to dig them out. But I have been told how to do this weekly contest and here is the next promp.

Promp 3: Bloodstone, Jasper
Word Count: 300
Example of Use(sorry for horrid spelling and grammer) Kagome sighed thinking of everything they had done that day. The day had been long and hot, but now with the seting sun she feels all of it falling away. 'Oh how I love watching the sun set' she though. Hearing foot steps behind her she looks over her shoulder and notices the steal gray boots holding back bellowing white silk pants.

"You should not be with out protection Miko" Sesshomaru said in his normal tone.

Kagome sruged her shoulders then looked up at him, but her words we lost on the tip of her tounge as she looked him in the eyes. 'Wow. His eyes shine like jasper in the seting sun'
