This makes me feel a little old which is sad because I'm eighteen years old BUT does anyone else remember when the 'Blanket Scenario' was HUGE?

For those of you who may not know, the blanket scenario usually took place during a storm or blizzard and Kagome/ [any random male] would take shelter in an abandoned hut [or cave]. Usually in the abandoned hut they would find a single, dry blanklet, create a small fire, get nude to share body heat, and share that single blanket.

Then it was followed up a confession of love and you know what.

I just wanted to know if anyone else was addicted to those as I was o3o

Oh man! I remember that! It wasn't just the Inuyasha fandom that was obsessed with that; there are blanket scenario fics in just about every fandom you can imagine.

(I kinda loved them too, even though they are pretty cliche ^_~)

I think I can honestly say I've never read a fic with that scenario...IY or otherwise >.<;

There is a variation of the blanket scenario at the beginning of one of my favorite fanfics, "Through A Mirror" by Sidhe. I think it is the most luscious part of the whole story.

I'm seconding knifethrower over there! And also Darkness by RhiannonoftheMoon. It led to an absolutely delicious sequel called To Shed a Little Light, as well!

i remember the blanket senerio, some of my first IY fanfic reads were that....

I've read so many that sometimes the theme gets old, but the stories are almost always awesome despite the cliche! Just a little while I was considering writing a blanket scenario, just for old times sake. Maybe now I'll actually do it!

You know, I was re-reading this thread and I realised...

I'm old enough to remember bygone fanfiction trends, of all things. I really don't know how I'm supposed to feel at that; it's a little terrifying. XD Any suggestions?

Try being able to remember fanfic when it was only found on dead trees...and still own some.
