Out of the options given? and i'm thinking of the original versions, not the diluted disney stuff

1) beauty and the beast
2) cinderella
3) little mermaid- even though my heart breaks for the poor mergirl
4) sleeping beauty- at least she only gets tricked once
5) snow white- originally she's like 12 years old, ugh! plus she gets tricked three different times! and in the disney version even though she's obviously older her's is still not really my favorite tale

out of the fairy tales i know

1) The Black Bull of Norroway
2) Kupti and Imani
3) Tatterhood
4) The Lute Player
5) 12 Dancing Princesses

tales where the girl is the hero, who wins because she's clever and loyal and hardworking, though in the case of the last tale it's mostly becuase in most versions of the story rather than the youngest princess getting chosen, it's the eldest and it's usually because of her cleverness

1. Beauty and the Beast (only just beat out Little mermaid because it has a happy ending)
2. Little Mermaid
3. Cinderella
4. Snow white (gotta love those dwarfs)
5. Sleeping Beauty (all she does is...sleeps.)

My top 5 fairytales are:

1. Hans My Hedgehog
2. Allerleirauh / All Fur
3. The Six Swans
4. The Goose Girl
5. The Griffin

And to be quite honest, I even like the one about the bloody cauldron, but I can't remember the name at the moment.

The Black Cauldron? Came out back in the 80s?

Of the ones you listed mine are:

~ Beauty & the Beast
~Cinderella
~Little Mermaid
~Snow White
~Sleeping Beauty

Not gonna lie, I really don't even like Snow White OR Sleeping Beauty to begin with. Personally, I prefered 'Happily Ever After' as opposed to Snow White

Nah, I wasn't talking about a movie, but thanks for the help.

I was referring to a Brothers Grimm story involving a monstrous scary man who wedded 2 of 3 sisters, then chopped them up and put them in a bloody cauldron, and was going to wed the 3rd sister but she found the cauldron, put her sisters body parts back together (which brought them back to life, no problems, i love fairytale logic/physics), killed the bad guy and lived happily ever after. The End.

lol

B&B is a hands down first because I like that they get to know eachother before falling in love.

I searched through my Grimm collection and found the story's name: Fitcher's Bird
