Donated One thing to note, some non-US countries won't have the Gift option (or anything about Friends and Family?). I just picked Other under Personal, the main difference is it just makes the person donating pay the fee.
I wouldn't mind doing a few digital or traditional sketch commissions (without backgrounds) for $10 and giving that to Dokuga Unfortunately I can't do anything in colour, because it would take me forever

Thanks for pointing that out, Shae... obviously, I was unsure of how that worked overseas, but I'm glad that I know now!! I will amend the information on the Supporters Page when I update all the statistics tomorrow. And yes, I received your generous donation and you will be getting a personal email in acknowledgment tomorrow as well.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Ah that's right, I also had an idea that perhaps you could work out how much things will cost over a year, and then do a donation drive once a year or something? I know I would be willing to donate regular amounts like that, and it looks like many others are willing to keep this community going too.

We were just talking about that today!! Talk about great minds thinking alike, eh?
I have had a number of people approach me to say that they'd be willing to do something like that. In addition, it was also suggested that we keep the PayPal information on the Supporters page, just in case anyone drops in with an itch to donate during the "off season," as it were.
Things are still pretty hectic, as you can imagine, but all the finer details will be worked out over the coming days and weeks. I have NO DOUBT that Dokuga will continue to grow and thrive with such talented, dedicated, caring and giving members!!

Yay! *flail*
*ahem* Knitted stuff sounds awesome to me, but I might be biased as a knitter.
I was wondering if any sort of goods-for-sale promotion would be okay here myself. I have an Etsy shop and am trying to raise some funds to donate through that, but don't want to go posting any links anywhere until I know it won't get me flogged with wet noodles.

Okay for some reason, I can't get to the 1st page to see the payment options. I don't have a paypal thing so I was wondering if I could like transfer funds from my account...if not, (because I'm not exactly sure how that works), can I use a credit card?

When you're at the PayPal main page, if you hover over "Send Money" along the top navigation, and click "Send Money Online" in the menu that comes up, it takes you to a page that seems to show different funding options and such. It looks to be a little different from the "send money" page you get when you're logged in.
Just remember, if you do use a credit card, they're gonna take fees on it. If you can afford to use a bank account instead, PayPal won't deduct anything.

Hmmm I think instead of birthday presents (my birthday is coming up) I'll ask my family to donate. Anything to help the site that has amazing people and stories!

If you knitted that, I would SO buy it! @___@;;
In regards to funding, I did send in a small donation yesterday. If you guys didn't receive it, be sure to let me know. I don't use PayPal a whole lot so I'm not sure how trustworthy they are. lol.
