Kagome bustled around the house, humming to the song on the radio. It was an instrumental, but she knew the words to it by heart. She packed up her grinning jack-o-lanterns and scarecrows in a large cardboard box. It’s a little early for this song, she mused silently. But then again, they just keep pushing the holidays up and up.

Suddenly, a baritone voice joined the serenading violins. Kagome squealed as strong arms wrapped around her waist.

“Hello Sesshomaru,” she giggled. Her husband planted a kiss on her nose and adjusted her position as they slowly danced to White Christmas.
