Protecting A Princess by Riku Ryuu
Mission From Hell
Hi! In another one of my 'jobs Sesshomaru usually does not have' musings, this came up. Started for the Gender Bender Challenge.
Enjoy.

Sesshomaru stared down at the little piece of paper before him. It was just a paper, white with black ink running across it with a short message. The paper was normal, but the message was not. He thought there was no way that it could be right, absolutely no way in hell.
“Taisho!”
His head jerked up and his eyes narrowed on his boss, the person behind the message. The man before him was on the older side, head bold except for little puffs of grey hair near his ears. An equally grey mustache dripped down past his chin, almost hiding the toothpick that was clenched in his teeth. Large black eyes that contained a smile watched him. The man was about half Sesshomaru’s size and looked as harmless as a bug, which made him one of the best at what he did. It was true that Myoga was good and very knowledgeable, not to mention in charge of his pay, but Sesshomaru refused to stoop this low. His pride refused to let him go through with something so demeaning.
“Going to stand around all day boy? I gave you your next assignment.” He said this good naturedly, a little grin slipping across his face. While he knew Sesshomaru wanted to refuse his newest job, he would not allow it.
“I demand a different mission.” Sesshomaru said flatly, fist crumpling the paper in his hands.
“Tsk tsk, young people today are so difficult. I gave you that assignment because you are the only one who can do it.” Myoga looked down at the hand Sesshomaru had on his desk and absently wondered if the wood would break under his furry. He hoped not, the desk had just been replaced after Shippo had lit the last one on fire.
Sesshomaru did not believe the man for a second.
“Put Sango on it.” Myoga was shaking his head before he had even said Sango’s name.
“She’s out on vacation and will not be back for two weeks.” Before Sesshomaru could recommend anyone else Myoga went on. “Shippo is too young to do undercover work, and Miroku doesn’t have the correct body type. Oh, and I am much too old to pass as anything but an old man.” Myoga’s grin only got a glare out of the younger man. Really, Myoga figured Sesshomaru was much too serious for someone his age. He was jaded, and he hoped that this assignment would help him loosen up.
Sesshomaru was handsome, which made his job much easier because people seemed to think handsome men had nothing in their head. They would see his well toned chest and steel muscles and figure him a dumb jock. In truth, if they were the least bit observant they would see the intelligence that cut through his golden eyes and the calculations that took place within. He did have muscles that made Myoga envious, but they were sleek and deadly, more than just for show. Sesshomaru was attractive and he wore clothes that heightened that aspect of his body, but almost no one knew that the clothes and his long silver hair were just like every other carefully maintained tool used to finish his job. Lucky for Myoga’s business, people were not perceptive. Sesshomaru was the best at changing his outer appearance, which was another reason Myoga wanted him on the job.
“Then turn down the mission.” Sesshomaru said simply. Though Myoga’s reasons were valid, there was no way Sesshomaru could play the part. He knew that he was the best chameleon they had but even he was not that good.
“The job not only came from a family friend, the person also owns the company that we buy all of our supplies from. If we don’t do this job, then we might just loose our supply provider and my friend will not be happy with me. You are doing this job and that is final.” Myoga huffed. He did not like that Sesshomaru was questioning his decision, though he understood the reason.
Sesshomaru thought of every possible way out of the situation, even contemplated quitting his job, but nothing fit just right. He cursed mentally when he realized he had to do it.
“Fine.” He bit out.
Myoga smiled at him.
“Go see Miroku to get suited up.”

Sesshomaru kept his eyes closed while Miroku was at work, trying to ignore the feel of the little brushes against his skin. When something cool touched his chest he was forced to keep from flinching. He knew what was happening to him and it did not sit well in his mind. He knew that he should have tried to become a lawyer instead.
“All done!” Sesshomaru opened his eyes and sat up. Miroku stood next to the table that had been used for Sesshomaru’s ‘suiting up’ holding a black t-shirt and dark jeans. Miroku was taller than Myoga, but still about five inches shorter than Sesshomaru’s six feet and five inches. His black hair was pulled back into a small ponytail at the bottom, showing that one ear had two golden earrings swinging from it. Brown eyes stared at Sesshomaru’s chest. “I think this is my best work yet.”
Sesshomaru snatched the clothes out of Miroku’s hands and hurried to put them on. The jeans went on easily, but the shirt he had some trouble with. When Miroku moved forward to help him, Sesshomaru quickly finished, not wanting assistance.
“Aren’t you going to take a look?” Miroku asked, gesturing to a full length mirror that was against one of the walls. Sesshomaru did not want to see the change, but he knew he would have to in order to change his actions to suit. Sesshomaru stalked over to the mirror and glared at his reflection.
A woman glared back.
He could still see his own features; the shape of his face and eyes were the same, as was his hair. His body was still there, the base Miroku had just added onto. His lips looked fuller, redder, and his eyelashes were much darker than before. The most drastic change was his chest. Where once flat muscles stretched from arm to arm, now there were two large blobs that pushed the shirt out and seemed natural. The blobs changed the whole look, succeeding to complete the change.
Sesshomaru hated the mission already.
Hands shot out from behind him and he stared at his reflection, wondering if Miroku was really doing what he thought he was. He was answered when the blobs were covered by the black haired man’s hands and there was pressure as they were moved around. Sesshomaru didn’t even have to think about his reaction, arm automatically going back and elbowing Miroku in the head. Sesshomaru turned and glared at the man who was not on the floor.
“Well, you already know what to do if someone gropes you. That was just a test… Hehe…” Miroku got off the floor and scurried away from his angry friend. “You now look the part, thanks to my magnificent art, so you should head out. The changes should stay on, even in the shower, and I have a special mixture that will take them off once you are done.”
“Give it to me now.” Sesshomaru said coldly.
“Nope, bosses orders. Good luck.” Miroku left the room, most likely to save himself from being murdered. Sesshomaru let out a sight that he had been holding in. He needed all the luck he could get.
His mission: guard one Miss Higurashi at her girl-only boarding school.
Sesshomaru needed a drink.
