Chapter 1

Kagome laughed with delight as the basket swooped and spun behind the dragon. The air was clear, the temperature was perfect, and the company was delicious. Shrieking at one playful drop, she clutched her partner's arm. And promptly laughed again as they were maneuvered into a downward spiral.

"Kagome, my ears," Sesshoumaru complained.

She laughed again. He could muffle the noise easily. He was teasing her. "Oh, come on! This is amazing!"

He smirked and wrapped his arm around her. "Of course it is."

She shoved at him lightly. "Thank yooooooou!" she shrieked again at another fast spin.

It was a magical roller coaster that she would never forget.
