WARNING: ATTEMPTED RAPE! 

“Hurry up!” Barked Inuyasha from the front of the small group. They had bumped into Akitoki Hojo again, in Inuyasha’s case quite literally. Kagome was healing Hojo’s sprinted wrist.

“Inuyasha” Kagome growled. Getting her point quickly, Inuyasha stooped complaining and walked off in a huff muttering about soft females. Sadly, Kagome heard him and gave a soft “sit!”

“Kagome” Hojo tapped Kagome’s hand to get her attention. “My house isn’t far away, I’m hosting a ball tonight will you and your friends attend?” he asked. To get under Inuyasha’s skin for not letting her go home a few weeks ago Kagome, Sango and Miroku said yes.

“We don’t have time” Inuyasha complained. “Inuyasha, please we haven’t had a decent meal in weeks since someone didn’t let me go home, we have no ninja food!” Kagome said. “I agree with Lady Kagome” Miroku and Sango said. Giving in Inuyahsa mentioned for Hojo to lead the way, grumbling under his breath about traitorous packs.

In four hours they came up to Hojo’s home, it was like a small Japanese castle. On the way the group stopped by a village to purchase some formal attire for the event, including Inuyasha.

“This place is beautiful” Kagome gasped. Hojo looked at Kagome with hope in his eyes, he hopes Kagome would accept him now; now she has seen how wealthy he was , little did he know she had a wealthy suitor. Sango and Kagome shared a guestroom, while Inuyasha and Miroku were next door. Both girls had just had a bath and were now changing into the kimono’s they had brought.

“Feh’ what’s keeping the wenches?” Inuyasha grumbled, he had just gotten sat for walking in while they were both naked. 

“My friend the longer they take, the more beautiful they become” Miroku said his mind drifting to some indecent thoughts.

“Excuse me, Monk” Hojo’s voice came behind the two men snaping the monk out of his ‘happy’ thoughts “Can I talk to you in private?” Miroku nodded and walked off.

“Monk, forgive my intrusion but is Lady Kagome being courted by Inuyasha?” Hojo asked. Miroku shook his head, it struck him as odd that he’d be asking him, but in hindsight Inuyasha might lie to Hojo and demand to know why.

“But Inuyasha cares for Lady Kagome and would be lost without her, plus she has a different suitor” Miroku warned. Hojo ignored the warning having gotten the information he wanted, Kagome in his mind was fair game.

To Kagome the ball was better than the prom her school held when she graduated. Different foods, fine wine and lots of dances. Currently she was dancing with Inuyasha, who was surprisingly good. Miroku was off on the side nursing a glowing red cheek with a dreamy look and his face, Sango was off dancing with a guard. Everyone was having fun.

“Excuse me Kagome may I have a word?” Hojo held out his hand for Kagome to take, Kagome told Inuyasha she’d be back in a while and walked off. Sagno was still dancing with the guard and Miroku was beginning to get jealous. Inuyasha saw his face when he sat next to her.

“Whats eating you?” Inuyasha asked. Watching Kagome, remebering now he can never have her.

“Look at that man, his hands over MY Sango it’s driving me…”

Inuyasha looked past the dance floor and saw Hojo and Kagome remebering who he alredy lost her to.

Miroku gets up and walkes over to Sango and her dance partner and cuts in pulling her in to a Dance. Inuyasha watched his friends dance and watched Kagome shake in Hojo’s arms.

“Kagome” Kagome looked at Hojo as he touched her, she began shaking trying to get him off. “No!” she cried

“WHY?” he spat. “Why him? He is nothing! Here I can offer you a home, food wealth and protection. What can he offer you that I can’t?”

“I’m being courted by someone else, please let me go” Hojo slapped Kagome and ordered a few guards over to escort her to his personal chambers. Inuyasha saw this and knew something was wrong and ran over to help her, there’d be hell to pay if she got hurt.

Kagome strugged against the guards that were leading her away from her friends to a room where Hojo would be joining her soon.

“Please let me out, I don’t want this I want to be with my friends, Please let me out. My intended, he’ll kill you all PLEASE” she begged banging on the door. After a few moments the door opened and Hojo walked in, Kagome made a mad rush for the door screaming for Inuyasha. To shut her up Hojo backhanded her. He watched as she fell to the floor crying. Wasting no time, Hojo grabbed her arm and dragged her to his bed and threw her on it.

“Please don’t do this” Kagome begged. Hojo paid her no mind and began to rip her kimono off her leaving her breasts in his intense gaze. Kagome screamed again for Inuyahsa as Hojo took a nipple in his mouth and bit hard, while pulling the rest of her torn outfit off her. Kagome screamed in pain as Hojo forced two fingers into her virgin channel

Inuyasha heard Kagome’s screaming and began searching the castle for her, Sango and Miroku behind him. When the group heard Kagome’s scream of pain all three paled and rushed to the room where they hear it from.

“GET YOUR HANDS OFF HER” he yelled. Hojo looked behind him and smirked. Not caring if the hanyou was there, He ordered his guards to hold him so he could watch. Hojo lowered his head and began licking Kagome’s cilt. Kagome’s screams for him to stop began again. Everything went silent when the sound of a wall crashing down followed by an enraged snarl.

Hojo was pulled off Kagome by a red eyed Sesshomaru. Sango and Miroku rushed in just in time to see Inuyasha rip free of the guards and go mad. Sesshomaru glared at Hojo before maiming the wretch. Mirkou pinned a binding sutra on his friend and forced Tensigua into his hands while Sango covered and hugged a crying miko. Sesshomaru turned and bared his fangs at the human fools that blindly followed the deceased lord before giving them a similar fate.

“My Lord please she needs you” Sango begged. However, the second Kagome was in his arms she shrieked again forcing Sesshomaru to pass her back to the slayer.

“Let’s go before I murder every human within fifty ri of this palace” Sesshomaru ordered coldly.

None of them saw a small child watch from the door…

Six months later.

Kagome was broken. After her attempted rape from Hojo she had become a shell, no more arguments with Inuyasha, she stayed away from men altogether, Poor little Shippo couldn’t even get close to his adopted mother. Sesshomaru joined the group after calming Inuyasha couldn’t care for an alpha female of a pack if he tried.

“May I ask what you were doing at the ball my lord” Miroku asked one night. Sesshomaru glared at Inuyasha at the reminder as too why he was traveling with his half-wit brother.

“This Sesshomaru was not in attendance to the ball, this one was merely responding to the fear of my intended mate” he snarled.

Inuyasha sank even lower into the ground feeling like a dunce. He knew Sesshomaru and Kagome were an item, after a nasty row with Kagome about Kikyo’s loyalty (or lack of) Kagome had run off. Thinking she had gone back to the well the gang went back to Edo to wait. Two weeks later Sesshomaru arrived with Kagome were they announced that Kagome agreed to be courted by Sesshomaru and three months later she was marked as his intended.

“This Sesshomaru should have never left his intended with you Half-breed, he knew you couldn’t keep your word yet there was hope you could do something right.”

“Oi, if you were soooo concerned you could have joined us sooner ya prick. Buuut nooo you had to tend to your lands first!” Inuyasha bit back. Sango felt Kagome shake at the loud voices the men were using.

“Can we hold off the pissing contest please, we are thankful that Sesshomaru was close to prevent the situation from getting more out of hand, He is a Lord Inuyasha and had duties that he can’t abandon. However, he could be more civil as we did not know that was Hojo’s intentions” She bit out offending both men.

“Slayer, we were to be mated the next night”

A few days after the initial ‘Dog fight’ as Shippo called it, Kouga showed up, Sesshomaru had tried to calm the wolf down but Kouga didn’t listen and sent his wolfs to distract the gang. The wolf demon kidnapped Kagome to take her to be his mate, she was on the verge of a nervous breakdown when Sesshomaru finally found her. Kouga had abandoned her when she refused to top screaming and crying. Holding his intended close Sesshomaru began to purr and rock Kagome. It helped some what.

To try and help Kagome Sesshomaru told Inuyasha to take Kagome to her mother in hopes she could help, he also sent a note to explain what measures the demon lord will take to protect his intended. Kagome spent one day at home before the modern day Hojo stopped by to see how she was. The second she saw him she screamed and begged him not to hit her startling the boy. Kagome’s mother spun a tale how someone who resembles Hojo had attacked and attempted to rape her. Hojo understood and left, saying he’d stop by when she calmed down a bit.

After that Kagome stayed in the past. Knowing there was the other Hojo scared her and refused to go back. Her mother was heartbroken but understood. She wrote a note for Sesshomaru begging him to watch out for her little girl and to protect her from anything.

Somehow they found the remaining shards and to destroy Naraku. However, what to wish for. Inuyasha had an idea and made the wish. A bright light filled the hut where they were all living. To their joy Kagome didn’t vanish, however, much to Sesshomaru’s annoyance, she laid sleeping in a crystal coffin. Behind the coffin stood Midoriko.

“Relax she is sleeping, what you said Inuyasha purified the Jewel. As you said ‘There is no pure wish so I wish for nothing’. As a result, the jewel was purified and returned to Kagome. It is now healing her; she will wake when she is ready to face men again without fear. You four, I ask of you a favour, guard her, watch her and protect her. For the REAL Shikon jewel was not that trinket you hunted; that was just a vessel to hold the excess soul this girl holds, Kagome is the real Shikon no Tama.”

Everyone gasped.

“Lady Midoriko we’d all be honoured to protect her.” Miroku replied bowing.

Midoriko smiled and chanted.

“Monk, slayer you have now got the same lifespan as Kagome, the lifespan of a god. Monk, I have returned your wind tunnel however your will controls it and this one will not consume you. Slayer, I have granted you the ability to understand demons when they speak in their native tongue. Hanyou, your biggest wish has been granted, you are now a full blooded demon…. With puppy ears. You shall not age and you will not die. Lord Sesshomaru, there is nothing I can gift that your mate to be can’t gift you but I say after she wakes give her some time, the fates have made you for each other therefore you shall mate one day.  I wish you luck protecting the Shikon no tama” and with that the Inu-tachi’s new task began.

500 years later….

Sesshomaru watched as Kagome slept in her coffin. After Midoriko left he had her moved to his castle where there were additional guards. He, Inuyasha, Sango and Miroku had watched over her for 500 years, she should be waking soon. Inuyasha had been keeping an eye on Kagome’s family waiting for the right time to show himself to explain what had accrued 500 years ago.

It had been a long task. Demon after demon had come wanting Kagome’s power.  A few humans to. All had failed to gain it. About thirty years after Kagome was put to sleep a man had turned up one day, claiming to be the son of Akitoki Hojo. To everyone’s surprise, the human didn’t want revenge, he wanted forgiveness. Word had gotten out and had tarnished the Hojo name. Inuyasha, knowing Kagome had forgiven the family and the man left happy knowing the miko didn’t hold a grudge, but he wasn’t too sure about the Western Lord.

Sesshomaru however was taking it the hardest, his council had demanded an heir and a lady and once tried to force him to mate but the result ended with a very dead council. Sango and Miroku became his advisors while Inuyasha was the ‘heir’ for now to appease the other Lords

Sesshomaru snapped out of his thoughts when he heard moaning, he looked at Kagome’s coffin; just as she opened her eyes.

“Welcome back, my tenshi”

*Reference to handling the death of Sango’s brother, family and village.  Hi everyone, another random Songfic. I did teak it a bit... ok more than a bit but hopefuly it worked. 

Found this in an old file on my laptop, made a few edits and here we are.
