I'm having a little difficulty discerning the flow of the story at points. It will seem like you're leading the characters to one thing and suddenly they're doing the opposite. It then feels like there are sentences or something missing. For example, Kagome made the observations that he was lost in his practice and had pent up rage, she would wait for him to finish. Then she suddenly sneaks up behind him like that's a wise thing to do. I know she's confused but it seems like her erratic behavior is meant to make Sesshoumaru go through some type of anguish that just comes across as forced. Perhaps some sentences to explain and soften some of Kagome's shifts? Apologies for the length, but just trying to give useful feedback.
