This is a great start, and I think you should continue this. When Kagome ran outside right into Sesshomaru, I literally gasped, I'm not even kidding. You have an obvious talent for writing, and since I seem to have an obvious talent for writing gushing reviews, let us continue this symbiotic relationship... shall we?

Marvelous story and chapter so far! I'm already reading The After on ff.net. I am a huge fan of darker content. I applaud you for writing a SesshxKag fic touching upon this matter. I myself am always nervous about my own fic for it is not very pleasant either. You definitely have a fan in me. Poor Kagome and what she's enduring at the hands of her father. Love that you've made Naraku her dad.

I'm really enjoying the story and there are so many questions hovering about what's going to happen to her moving forward. She can't return to Naraku, but will she ever be able to tell anyone who hurt her other than that one time with Sesshoumaru? Hopefully, she does sooner rather than later. What's Sesshoumaru's motivation and reason behind acting after so many others seemed to be oblivious?
