Awww...that was so good!! Quite the little story with the big message in and of itself. I do like that it took time for her to settle in and slowly be accepted. Family doesn't have to be blood, but it does have to be important. I hope you are inspired to do more stories like thses. I can't wait to see what you come up with next time :)
