Luckily, Emiko and Inuyasha have been there to stop anything from getting out of hand. Though I hope Ayame understands that Kagome didn't realize what Kouga was doing and didn't want it.

Cannot wait for more! I wonder....when Sesshomaru replaced the scent marking of Kouga's with his own...does that mean that Sesshomaru is now scent marking her? Curious........

Emiko was ok. I didn't feel one way or another about her. I did love the whole Kouga sent marking though. How InuYasha got pissed, and tried to hide it for her. Not to mention the Sesshoumaru getting rid of the scent mark.

I am surely falling in love with this story! i think i've reread the end about 5 times so far, it was just so sweet. I like reading about the development of their relationship, its real...it's not this instant IN LOVE! kind of thing, it's a natural build up that is complicated by history and past pain. I think you move the story along smoothly and those little important details that are stuck in about sesshoumaru's past are so fitting.He would never be an open book and these previews are most appropriate. I definately look forward to the upcoming chapter. Keep up the awesome work. :)
