This story deserves far more positive feedback than its gotten so far!  *I* think you're doing an excellent job!!  The writing is mechanically gorgeous, clear and concise.  You manage to convey the theme of the prompt without going overboard, the characters are IN character... what's not to LOVE?  Please keep up the good work and know, even if I'm too darned busy to drop a note, I'm still reading!
