That was great! I liked how you tied that up. He did right to clear her mothers memories too. She would have fretted and worried or not let her go if she knew what she faced. Very nicely done. I'm glad that when Kags knew who he was she wasn't frightened of him. Lovely touch. Thanks for updating. 

Great chapter.  I love that he wiped her mom's memory too. It makes sense that she would start having issues if she realized how much danger her little girl was in, and Sesshoumaru wouldn't risk losing her.

I started reading this story yesterday and I absolutley love it. It's amazing! 

Oh my Gosh! I thought my heart was going to crumble to pieces after Kagome shied away from him. I can't wait for the next update. 

I feel kind of bad that Sesshomaru has to bear the burden alone. He seems to be taking on more and more for Kagome and to ensure not only is she safe but happy and have a stable enviornment.

What I am curious about though is.....time is not infinite. It can change. So, if the first time Kagome sees a youkai was with Inuyasha, the first time she sees Sesshomaru was the first battle between him and Inuyasha and the unmother.......

Now Sesshomaru has been such a big part of her life that she will have a childhood filled with memories of him being with her, promising to be there for her, being her rock and shoulder to cry on.....so when she sees the "past" Sesshomaru versus the new one, how will that play out? Could the modern Sesshomaru erase that many memories? What about Souta, jii-chan (the grandfather) and Kagome's mother?

I highly doubt his original plan of just slowly fading to the background would work. It didn't work when Kagome was a toddler and I highly doubt it would work when she's getting old enough to go through the well.......

Ah see, I'd figured there'd have to be some memory removal/supressing! I'm glad to see the update! And ohno at age 13!~ Hormones galore and just that much closer to when she falls down the well! Don't make this end, I love it too much! <3

I had to start this over from the beginning because I haven't really been keeping up with my fics lately because of school and work, but it was well worth the re-read. Loved this. I seriously cannot wait for me. Probably the only negative I can think of is a few typos you could watch out for, easy enough to catch through a re-read. Still, that said, they hardly distract from the story and I cannot wait to read more. Update soon! ^_^

I loved this. It truly portrayed his basset self, the one that reveled in his enemies blood and death. He's a youkai  regardless of his more "civilozed" attitude. He has the calling to deal harshly to anyone that harms what's his or his pack.II just hope you don't kill Kagome off :(loving it though!

YESS!! So great seeing Sessh in action, killing something perfectly. Having to always hide that side of himself away must be a constant battle of will. Is he going to erase her memory. That would be a nightmare for her to remember. Thanks for a wonderful update. 

This was an excellent chapter. The whole idea of him unleashing a part of himself that was hidden, was very well written. Can't wait for more!

Omg! This was fantastic! You note at the end on what he had to give up to survive and I really like your observation and see how you had him reawake the beast within. I can't wait for your next update
