Rin is very adorable here, and I hope that she and Sesshoumaru can turn Kagome around. It seems to me that there may be a misunderstanding about how Christmas is celebrated in Japan however. Instead of how the western world does it, it is more like Valentine's Day there where it is set aside for lovers and couples. It is New Years that is for family rather. Because of this, there are certain lines spoken by Mrs. Higurashi and Rin that I feel they would not say. Also, please help me understand why they would go caroling, which is a Christian tradition and not common in Japan, at a Shinto shrine. Thanks.

I really like this so far. I'm really curious what could have happened to Kagome to hate Christmas! I always read ones where it is Sesshoumaru that is the grinch and Kagome the person to bring the Christmas spirit in! Its nice to see something different :3
