This is like reading a scary book under the covers at night. I love it! It really invokes a feeling of fear and eeriness and I am dying to know what happened in that house!!
And the plot thickens with a twist. Sesshoumaru has his reasons for being so short, rude and abrupt where Kagome's claim was made. Honestly, if he's so biased, which he is, he shouldn't have being the senior detective sent there. He can't possibly be fair seeing as his own father (I rather like the name, by the way) had such a detrimental reaction to the case in the past that it sent him to an asylum.
As Shippo said, there's no gray, only black and white with Sesshoumaru. There's no option that there just might be something that is unexplainable. I'll bet the man is a total aetheist(sp?) because if you believe in God or in this culture, gods then you must believe in the devil, Satan, or the equivilent thereof. What I am getting at is that you can't see them, but you know they're there and you also know that there is always a war going on to take our human souls to the netherworld, or hell.
I have a feeling Sesshoumaru is up for a very rude awakening when the pieces to this puzzle become to real for him to deny. JEN

I love a good spooky mystery and this one definitely has my attention. This last chapter has pulled me in..what is going on at the mansion that it drove a man crazy? It also makes Sesshoumaru's hatred of supernatural things more understandable. I thought he protested too much that there had to be a reason.
Anyway, your writing is wonderful as always. Very descriptive so that the reader is drawn in and the story flows well. I'm so glad to see you back!

Ooo, so that is how it is hmm? I like it, this inspector position for Sesshou is perfectly suited for him. I can't wait for the next update.
rss (Chapter 5) - Wed 15 Jun 2011
so something else had happened in the higurashi mansion, that inupapa was investigating?
cause kagome's family's death had happened in a plane crash no? so i suppose its not related to her family's death...
so what was it that got his attention, that finally put him in an asylum?

OMG UPDATE THIS SUPER SOON PLEASE!!!!1
I'm so sorry I haven't been able to keep up with reading and reviewing this as frequently as I would like rl's just been a little more nutty than usual the past couple of weeks.
I. Love. This. Especially the swing scene and the face at the window- it usually takes quite a bit to spook me, but you had me imagining over and over again what the raspy whisper in her ear sounded like, painstakingly trying to picture that face at the window.
Please keep up this amazing story, I can't wait to find out more about the house's past . . . and to see just when the spirits make Sessh realize how wrong he is XD.
