I always wonder, in both this story and in Unspoiled. It seems that most people are not that upset about how Inuyasha is concieved. I hope this story touches more upon the issue that though Iinuyoukai mate for life, Inunotashio didn't. And that he stepped out on Lady Tashio. I'm curious as to how this plays out in your fics, cause it was kinda just glossed over as romantic in Unspoiled that he loved Izayoi, but he obviously loved Sesshoumaru's mother too. Obviously, people can love mutiple others, but if it's instinct to mate ONCE to the one you love, wouldn't it be worse that someone would chose to do otherwise? Maybe I'm just projecting my values onto the story. But I feel like nobody really thinks about how it must have felt to feel secure in the knowledge that your mate will mate for life, and then he choses not to. I really hope you touch and expand upon this in this fic, cause I think you'll have a very unique take! I'm looking forward to the next chapters.

And so solves the mystery of trysting. Well not the one of why Sesshoumaru has not partaken in it, since it clearly seems like his mother wants him to (or expects him to). Its kinda sad and weird that the Western Lady has a bittersweetness to her. I feel like it would be weirder though to have both mother and son using the same cave for their own pleasures. I also find it interesting that so far the plan has been to make Sesshoumaru more desirable to all the females as a whole versus targeting a specific one. I can't wait though for the hunt to be over. and I can't wait to see what happen next :)

Oh poor Sesshomaru Mamma. I would like for her to find that someone special again :(
