Great story so far!! :) 

Oh my god this chapter seemed so intense....I had been waiting for you to update this story for  what seemed like forever & after each chapter I find myself filled with worry,hope,confusion & doubt.I read this chapter & I'm in awe I don't understand some of what I read or what is going on??? I understand that Kohaku is alive & Jalyne is now blind but is also connected to Kagome on a very deep level . An enormous amount of this story has been told in a way that is very cryptic, especailly when it's concerning Kagome . It seemed as though in the beginning of this chapter Kagome was feeling very alone,ignored,forgotten & isolated.  I , myself felt like Kagome was being told one thing & being treated the opposite .....she was told she was needed  & yet they were treating her as if she had no importance & it seemed as if she felt they forgot she was there.The only one who didn't seem oblivious to her was the seer & I can only imagine that almost everyone that read this last chapter (including myself) must be dying to know what Jalyne showed Kagome in that vision that left them both in tears. Jalyne mentioned that Kagome was changing,becoming more powerful & she seemed to imply Kagome would change in other ways.

I really like this story but it seems the only way to understand it is to keep reading it & so I look forward to the next chapter & hopefully I will understand more of what is happening or going to happen, I look forward to that. 

I don't understand what was going on with Kagome & why she was suffering & nobody noticed or cared, I felt so alone for her.It's like they all only care for Jaylne & Kagome could be dead or dying & nobody cared or checked on her.She was suffering in terrible pain & it mattered to noone.They didn't bother even cheking on her. Inuyasha carried jalyne away & Sessh (some alpha) & everyone just took off now that Sessh & Inu were sure the seer was okay, did they just leave Kagome behind, I mean I know just was buckled over in terrible pain alone & once Inu caught Jalyne & she & Sessh had whispered in each other ears all happy go lucky..did they leave Kagome behind,did Shippo remember her & go back for her or is she still left behind at the slayer village suffering in pain,still feeling like she on fire..........it seems as if nobody cares for or about her

I'm confused.  Was it the gods that punished Jalyne for helping Kohaku and why?  I think their gods made a stupid move and it's not right that they have the final say.

Something seems to be happening to Kagome, too.  Maybe Jalyne's powers were transferred to her?  I hope that somehow she  can restore Jayne's eyesight at least.

Wow, I am so glad that I found this story. I am completely addicted. Please update soon.

I just found this story today & read the entire thing. It is intense to say the least. Please tell me there will be more. I can barely stand the wait to see what will happen next & what is happening now. I'm guessing the price she paid was either the loss of her sight or the loss of her actual eyes & they are nothing now but empty sockets. Kagome left out the part of the story where the voices or gods asked both girls " 'Would you trade your life for this boy ?' & both girls replied without hesitation at the same instant 'yes' " then it was if the fates were trying to decide as the 2 girls waited until the voices spoke again & said "Life in the palm of one's hand.........That is what we give you." Then both girls passed out.

 I don't know why Kagome left these parts out of the story. Now that Jalyne is awake I guess it is up to her to tell the rest. I can't help but feel after this Kagome & Jalyne will become very,very close. For whatever reason neither Inu brothers with their heightened senses or  anybody but Kagome could feel/sense when Jalyne woke,erected the barrier & left camp & she could touch her while in the barrier too. I wonder if they,their power,their auras or something are now connected in some ways.

I also noticed that in ch.8 you wrote that Jalyne already knows that Sessh & Kagome are meant to be together but in ch.10 Jalyne asks Inuyasha if he wants Kagome & says she heard they were together (He was with Kikyo alive & undead but never Kagome) as the seer shouldn't she already know the truth that he was never with Kags but was with Kikyo the undead priestess. I like how Sessh is getting closer to Kagome & I hope they both continue to go that way & that Sessh stops fighting his urge to be with her just because she is human & I hope Kagome stops thinking back on how she used to see him & starts to just accept the him that keeps saving her,watching over her & holding her near,showing concern for her well being. I also hope that Jalyne slips up telling Sessh that his destiny is with Kagome. I also wonder if after what just happened with Kagome & Jalyne, where it appears Jalyne paid the price for a life with her eyes maybe Kagome paid with her being human & now is more than human or if something like that will happen after she completes & wishes on the jewel,I know she has all of it now but she hasn't purified it, fused it & wished the selfless wish on it. I wonder if that act alone will change anything. It just seems that with what the fates or gods wish her to be able to complete they could have made it so she was more durable...with a stronger,faster body,better healing abilities & stronger powers. It would seem with a weak human body & only strong holy powers both Kikyo & Midoriko died trying to fulfil their destinies & Kagome has already had to finish both of theirs, you would think that with 2 Miko's inability & the 3rd already proven she will not give up that at some point they would give her help that wouldn't only include the constant reliance on others for help & protection.

  I can't wait for the next chapter

this story looks so interesting I really hope you continue it. I would love to know what the scroll says that Kagome is holding & I would love to know more about this story & I love any story where Sessh & Kagome end up together

I like this story alot. Your plot looks very interesting and I hope that you will continue this soon. Can't wait to see how the two new relationships evolve.

I feel very fortunate to have found your story. These days it seems as if the same story line is being replayed over and over again and the story holds no intrigue but your story is completely different. Every time I think something is clear, I am proven wrong. I love it. Please keep up the good work and I look forward to more of this fascinating story.

There were three points of CC. Minor things, but i htough it might be helpful to have them brought up:

1) the inner dialogue between characters was sometimes hard to follow as it was never certain when you were changing speakers

2) several tense issues throught story - ex: could for couldn't, either for neither, can for can't (bane of my writing exhistance. I do this all the time too!)

3) Jaylne is a Mary Jane? It just seems like so fan in the story thats how her character is developing. When I write original characters I try to make a point of expressing one flaw for every one strength. This might be helpful in Jaylne's portrayal to make her more realistic.

Now on a PLUS side!!! Even some of the most seasoned writers struggle in making their readers FEEL the emotions of the characters. Right now there is a lot of confusion and tension for Kagome regarding the questionable relationship and feelings between Sesshomaru and Jalyne. To the readers we see that where this is going is a S/K and possibly I/J pairing, but yet you still managed to make me feel that jealousy and frustration that you know Kagome must be feeling. Sesshomaru seems a little confused on things too - he's confused about his new feelings for Kagome, and Jaylne's reemergance. I dont think he necessarily loved her, as you make it clear that they couldnt get along, but there was at least affection there, and the sense of duty that he was SUPPOSED to be with her. 

I'd really like to see you continue to play to that ambiguity for the J/S/K love triangle - when Jaylne is the only one who seems pretty clear that she doesn't belong with Sesshomaru... maybe she in her own way helps to unite the pair, but only after some tension and further confusion. i thnk it realy helps develope their characters and personalities as YOU the author chooses to portray them in your story.

I notice you keep using "seeress" and I wanted to offer some constructive input, which I hope you wont take offense to! Its probably NOT common knowledge, but to say "seerESS" is actually redundant. Historically in mythology and culture, a story or villiages "seer" was a female not male, so it goes without saying to add the feminine suffix. Actually, to be most specific she was an elderly female who was usually blind or had obvious vision problems. I'm not contending that you've chosen to make Jalyne youthful and with sight, more trying to let you know that you can just say "seer" as its sufficiently self explanitory. :)

I also just had to praise you on what seems like is going to be a very original plot line. I feel some popular undertones to the story, but the overall plot seems like its going to be new. Its been so enjoyable reading this story. I look forward to more, and I've put you on my alerts so that I'll know when you update!

Yay, another update..and so Quickly :)  Yay for us!

I'm curious who the shadowed figure is that poisoned Jalyne - yes, I'll patiently wait it out to unfold.  Interesting how InuYasha seems to be showing some, hmmm, interest(?) in Jalyne?  And why is she asking Inu why he's not attending Kagome if Jalyne already knows why...I mean, she's a seer, right?  That was a rhetorical question, as I figure she's trying to gauge what InuYasha's interest in Kagome to make sure the way is open for Sesshoumaru.

And what are Sesshoumaru's feelings towards Jalyne, truly?  Yes, he appears to have sparked a slight interest in Kagome, but I wonder if he's really over Jalyne?  He seems to have remaining feelings for her, and I'd hate for that to get in the way of where he's supposed to be with Kagome.

Or am I just reading too much into this?  I do that, so you can tell me to stop now.
