I like the direction this sequel is going and that you let a lot of years lapse between the two stories.  I'm excited for it.  Their children sound fascinating.  I'm eager to read of events taking place in their lives, especially if there's romance ahead for the two oldest and to learn more about the power and specialness of the youngest.  I'm a christian but I don't like the history of my faith where it was forced on others with their narrow minds and tunnel vision.  I hope they don't have to go into hiding and can change the future so youkai can go amongst society without having to disguise themselves to be accepted.
