I think you should have a few more chapters of Kagome as a child.  Take your time and build the plot up.  Let her have more interactions with Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru.  Only in this last chapter did we get any interaction with Sesshoumaru and Kagome, so at this point, if you skipped to her being an adult, it would make the progression seem choppy, imo.  This is an interesting concept.  I've never read another AU like this.  I like it so far.  The scene where her power become unleashed was interesting.  However, I giggled a little bit when I remembered that she was going through this transformation when she was still dressed up in her halloween outfit, hehe.  It's a little funny picturing Kagome as a fierce hybrid-like creature..when she's wearing a bumble bee costume, lol.  Anyways, I hope you run with it and really take the time to develop the relationships between the characters.  I think doing that will really make the story, since you're starting witha really good concept as it is.  Keep up the good work!

Totally cool.....  I enjoyed this story adding a bit of flavor to the norm.  As for Sesshomaru being his usual self will learn the value of someone to protect and Inu Yasha oh so sweet even if he does act like an older brother would.  Good job on that one.  I think one or two chapters should be written about Kagome's powers' and for the boys to understand what she is and holds before having her grow up.  I cannot wait to read what happens next.  Keep up the good work.

Ha ha! Fooled me at first, I thought maybe it was their father watching to see if Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha would protect her, but now I see we have our first true villian after the jewel. Wonder how Sesshoumaru will take to that? Great chapter!
