Oh, the tragedy and angst! You definitely have a talent for it, Miss Teak. I loved reading every word of it. You have such a talent of evoking the emotions that the characters are going through and making the picture of the scene so clear. I felt like I was there with Sesshomaru and Kagome when they first met and I was crying out to Sesshomaru to stop from killing the butterfly by the end. A pleasure to read as always. I can't wait to see what you come up with next, my dear. ;)
I, for one, would lap up zee angst and zee dra-mah! (KBS World is my staple, with a helping of Bollywood now and then. Wakakakaka...)
*ahem* Okay, reading this particular fic, is a little like coming home. I say so because there are, in the fabric of this tale, things I am familiar with - filial piety, other before self, the cornerstones of a lot of Asian cultures. ;D Also, thumbs up for the references to legends. Your take on Obsessive!Sesshoumaru made me shudder; it wasn't attractive but his anguish is palpable.
Well done, Miss Teak!
<cries a river of tears> So, so sad. But beautifully perfect in its sorrow. <reaches for more tissue>
In penance, you must write a chapter of the Adventures of Chibi-Maru to make us all smile again!

Gods, I don't think there is one thing you've written that wasn't absolutely beautiful. If you ever stop writing Sess/Kag, it will be a true loss that I, and many others, will mourn.
~Hugs~

As wonderfully moving as ever Miss Teak. You may not intend to keep writing such angst and drama, but you're really good at it. I kept hoping that he wouldn't crush the butterfly, but I knew it wasn't to be. I really enjoy reading your work. ^_^
Seijaku (Chapter 1) - Mon 27 Sep 2010
Wow. Beautifully written. I could see more coming of this, in a long, twisting storyline. The way you wrote this had the entire story folding out in front of me in beautiful colors, almost like a richly done painting. I loved it. Thank you.
Crivens that was sooo beatiful and sad!!!! Soooooo very very very sad! I was tearing up sooo much!!!! T_____T I wish you would write a sequel or side story or something with a happier ending with them >__< but greaaaaat story as always! It moves my heart!
So sad, but so beautiful.
omg.. This is sooo sad but sooo veeery romantic! (yes, let me be redundant~!)
It's sad that they couldn't be happy together, in the end. And it's sad that Sesshoumaru had to live his remaining life without her and haunted by memories filled with her. Sad, too, because Kagome had to suffer to protect her father, and hurt Sesshoumaru even though we know she didn't want it to happen.
Very beautiful, Jasmine~!! Keep it up~ XD
*cheers for you~*
Madison (Chapter 1) - Mon 27 Sep 2010
I'm so speechless, I don't know where to begin.
When you said angst, you meant angst. I think I have tears in my eyes.
I just love how you can break apart their relationship, and created something filled with so many raw emotions. I loved the other one you did for the previous two prompts, but I think this one will have to be my favorite. I don't know, it took hold of my heart, it and refuses to let go, love. This was poignant. (Do you use that in English too? Whichever, I'm sure you know what it means, lol).
Sesshomaru was a bit reluctant at first, but he became so devoted to her. I mean, I thought something tragic would happen to them, but I would never think that the reason why they were not together was because of Kagome. Okay, technically she did want him, but you know what I mean? It's just.. it must have hurt Sesshomaru so bad.
I'm picturing the poor thing all wrapped around his feelings and he gets all broken. I can really compare him to a butterfly with the way you are describing everything. He was all hidden at first, and she helped him grow, but their love became the butterfly, except they were not together. And then, it was brief, and it passed on. (well brief, you know).
I hope in a way, even though its kind of sadistic, I wish he follows her into the other life. How can he stay alive, when she is the reason for his life . He, Sesshomaru was ready to throw it all away just to have the chance to run away, and be with her. I think he should follow her. His last words, it was what broke my heart.
You have a very powerful way with words, my love.
In a way, I want to see a epilogue or something, but in a way I love the way it's lingering what he will do. Leave on, just dwelling on Kagome, and how he lost her, or die and follow her to the other world.
Beautiful, I'm still all choked up.
