Another heartbreaking chapter.  This story always takes me on a rollercoaster ride of emotions.  Worry for him.  Elation that he woke up.  Sadness over the loss of people I don't know.  Inuyasha's fire rat (I've got my own thoughts about him in this story) made me miss him, and that was a suprise.  Now the necklace and the promise.  Dang.  I'm spent.

I just love your stories.

I love this story, you have no idea! It is insainly awesome, the suspence is killing, and the action sweet! Keep going I love it all to death!

This is so interesting how his ghost of a dream wife keeps telling Sesshoumaru how much Kagome needs him or at least that's what I think is going on. GOOD CHAPTER.

You already knew how I felt about the beginning of the chapter, but reading it all together makes it so much better. See I keep thinking Onishi is very evil, because that's all we've seen from him, but sometimes I think he is a little bit different from that. I'm not saying he is good, I'm just saying he is not all that bad.

When he asked for Kagome to leave, I thought bad things were gonna happen. Although he was mad cause his plans were delayed, he didn't seem like the angriest in the world... like I thought he would do something, and he just sat there, ALMOST, in a watching over manner. He confuses me, I thought I had him pinned down... lol. Though now I wonder how he knows about the sword!

I really like Chiyoko's journal. Not only does it helps us get to know her, but I think it gives a good insight of her and sesshomaru's life to Kagome, and that will help. Plus you make it so interesting to read. It seemed more than a personal journal, it almost seems like a novel of ... adventure? I dont know how to explain it.

Okay, since we know that in this story people from the past are still alive, I am very much wondering who is this person Kagome ran into. You and your damn mysteries lol! You know I'm not patient hun! Why do you do this to me?

I like this dream/coma state Sesshomaru had. It's obvious he wanted to kill himself so he could be with his family again. And I think in a way it's bitter. You want him to be happy again and at the moment it feels like it's the only way he'll gain happiness once more. But you don't want him dead, he has to live and heal!

I'm glad his mate, even if maybe just a projection of Sesshomaru's mind, told him he had to go on. It's easier to let go when the person you love is behind you telling you to spread your wings, and live your life. I know she would like it if Sesshomaru could find the will to live agani, and it's bittersweet too. 

I like the sweet little scene at the end, with Kagome. It wasn't much but it seems as if it meant everything.

YAY!!!!!HE IS UP!! What a stressful story. The tension in this story is unbelieveable. I wonder who Onishi really is. I mean he knows waay to much about Sesshomaru, for instance Tenseiga. The only person I know that knew about Tenseiga WAS Shippo, Inuyasha, Miroku, Sango, Kohaku, and Rin! The humans of the group died though because of old age so it couldn't be Rin, Kohaku, Sango, or Miroku.  Is Onishi Shippo or Koga? I know Onishi is a demon. He has too be if he was able to see Kagome use are powers on Sesshomaru. I mean this question is killing me. I really think though that Onishi is Koga because he's getting really jealous of the time Kagome and Sesshomaru are spending together. But you know that's just my opinion. I can't wait until the identity of Onishi is revealed. What a wonderful story. Can wait for the next chapter!!!

Daniella:  That was truly fantastic!  I understand the trouble you had with pulling your thoughts together and getting past the dreaded blockade in your head, but the wait was well worth it.

With that horrible cliffhanger, I am so glad to see what came from it, and maybe Sesshomaru will find some peace eventually with the help of Kagome.  I loved how you brought him to the afterlife to see his mate and for her to tell him that it's still not his time and that he still has things to do...brought tears to my eyes.

And the mysterious Onishi and the green-eyed man....oh who could they be? (LOL)  I can only guess :)

Awesome update and I can't wait (but will) for the next one.

Wow.. That's all I can say! I mean, I've never read an Inuyasha story like this. It's amazing! The way you display Sesshoumaru and his different type's of personalities/ages is amazing. Isn't that what you would call his different moods..? I'm not sure, but it's awesome! I hope you update very soon! I've cried more than once from the sad stories of Sesshoumaru.. :/ Keep up the great writing!

Thank goodness he made it. I was getting worried, but must commend you on portraying the suspense so perfectly. I really like this entire storyline, Kagome's character is truly her own, and you're amazing at portraying Sesshoumaru's madness and slowly building that backstory of his. The OCs are also intriguing and wonderful characters, and you've got me so darn curious as to the mystery behind the connections between everyone. That said, Lady Chiyoko is one of my favorites in this fic; I love the glimpses at this woman who created such a beautiful life with Sesshoumaru, and one who's ultimate demise completely destroyed him. It's like a peaceful respite from the angry madness of the aysulm, a structure you play on well. Never going overboard with the pain nor the fluff. ^_^Wonderful story; I can't wait to see what comes next!

I can not believe I have spent the last three hours reading all twelve chapters! This story is absolutely brilliant, truely the best Darkfic story for this pairing I've read thus far.

Chapter twelve was most certainly my favorite, perticularly the ending usually I hate it when something like this happens to a protaganist in a story let alone one of my favorite characters. However all I could think afterwards was oh my fucking gosh this is phenominal...followed by Daniell better update soon or I will be reinacting the last scence out with her portraying Sesshoumaru!!!

I am quite serious about the last comment so to save yourself from death and me from jail time, UPDATE soon.

Oh and before I forget will Kagome get a chance to correct the incorrect wish she made upon the Shikon no Tama? Also, what happened to Shippou, Jaken, Kirara and Kouga?

Lmao, but I'll review it as if I don't, and I don't know the end, how about that? Lmao. Because let's face it the chapter was fantastic, and even though I hate the last part, it is still very good, it didn't ruin the chapter at all, it just made it much better, but you can't blame me for being a little bit upset, lmao!

Poor little Kagome. We all know how she is, and I can only imagine how frustrating it is that she lost all progress, and that Sesshomaru stopped cooperating at all. I kinda find myself wondering why. I know he shared more than he probably wanted to, but I thought he felt good enough in kagome's presence to still tell her a few things.

I guess they are not where they are in this little relationship. Which is good because it brings drama, and we don't want them to have it too easy now do we? Poor little Kag, though. I know her anger is just going to piss off Onishi sensei because he seems to be the biggest asshole lately. Well that's because he has an evil plan that you refuse to share with us. HINT HINT HINT.

See I told you he would be an asshole! I mean the way he talked to her! He used to kind of sugar coat everything, but I think either because she makes progress, or because she is keepin stuff to herself, but he's not liking it. his attitude just changed drastically, and I'm pretty sure Kagome is going to notice that. I mean she believes in the good in people, but come on. 

Ugh. I agree with Kagome, well you. well.. whatever, lol. I think that if Sesshomaru won't talk for that amount of time, then it will be too difficult to get anything out of him. Maybe a break from them is what they need. Also, it's not better if other people get pissed off at Sesshomaru because he won't talk. I think Onishi-sensei is just mad cause he can't talk to Sesshomaru, and if Kagome is not pressuring him, then he gets nothing.

I'm glad that she took her time off anyway. I like when Kagome has a backbone, and still does the thing she wants to do. Plus Onishi sensi couldn't fire her anyway so it hardly matters. Lmao, he needs her and he knows it so I don't know why he was being such a bastard, and treating her like that.

UH OH. that really means that Onishi-sensei has something to do with Sesshomaru's situation I KNEW I JUST FREAKING KNEW IT THIS WHOLE TIME! but I'm kinda afraid too now. If he is linked, and Sesshomaru returns to normal.. it's going to be hell. I'm almost afraid that he will lose it agian, like almost right away, and that would be really bad.

I thought Kagome's day off would be good, but not so sure anymore. I mean her day with her mother was a good thing. I'm really glad you included her in, because she really helps Kagome a lot, she helps her get her thoughts together! And I think it helped Kagome to be able to share all of this. You can see that Sesshomaru is becoming a bigger part of her life every time, and I like it!

Of course, then you did this. I was already support nervous when she had the dream. I knew something bad was going to happen, and the way you described the thrill, I swear I was jumping in my seat, nervously, and I made someone wonder what the hell was wrong with me. You are soooooo good at writing edgy stuff.

This fic is amazing. i was wary of reading it in the beginning because I don't like to read of Sesshoumaru's suffering but after sucking it up, I decided to read it and I'm glad I am reading it now. It's so sad but I can't help pressing the next button while I'm wiping my tears away. I cannot wait to find out what happens! That last chapter left me with a face much like ":'O" <~ that.
