I really like your style of writing and I'm enjoying the story overall, but Kagome is very frustrating.  I think her actions have been cowardly and selfish, but she feels like she's doing it for him.  Making decisions that greatly affect others without their knowledge is not ok.  Once, ok that's a mistake, but repeatedly is a pattern where it might not be wise to just blindly trust in them to be honest anymore.  I'd really like to see Sesshoumaru confront her on this.  She would've kept the knowledge of his sons from him while he stayed in a loveless marriage.  He has a right to make decisions about his own life.  I'd love to hear him tell her that!

I am just curious, as you didn't really specify in the formative chapters but, was there a specific reason that both Kagome and Sesshoumaru decided to break up amicably and see other people or was that just a plot point?

Your story is very reminiscent of soap operas. Very dramatic and filled with an abundance of loathing for the antagonist. I am in no way critiquing your talents as an author, but I enjoyed reading your work.
