Yuck yuck yuck. The story was incredible, don't get me wrong, but I can't take this ending. Your Sesshou reminds me of a good friend of mine. Always wanting to save some broad that wants nothing to do with him other than his money or a sympathetic shoulder. The sad thing is that those kinds of men really are good guys, they just have low self-esteem and a penchant for masochism.
Sorry, but Kago was the stereotypical "free-spirit" that destroys everything in her way while she's trying to find herself~ Give me a break! ANd the idea of Sesshou begging to be loved, crying and sniffling on the phone. O M G!!!
The only person I'm happy for is Kaguya. This is the first time I've seen her written as a real character and not some money-grubbing gold digger that gets in between the star-crossed SessKag pair. It was refreshing and even though I know it wouldn't happen here, I was rooting for them.
I'm still unnerved that all of the cheaters had happy endings. Izayoi/Pops, Inu and Kagome, meanwhile Sesshou gets to play second fiddle (even though he's too obsessed with boring ass Kagome to see it) and his mother is some random woman no one has sympathy for because she wasn't likable enough. Happy endings are fine, but this one was bordering too daggone much. Too romcom for me.
Don't take this as a flame, I'm just fired up lol
It was a great story considering the amount of emotion you put into it and how much you got from your readers. Reading the reviews was almost as enjoyable as the story itself.
Boo to Sesshou-mom explanation. Calling Izayoi mother seems way too OOC especially under the circumstances.
Screw that I still dont feel bad for Kagome! This is the same crap I hated about the real story. I love triangle with a childish, selfish imbecile (Inuyasha) in the middle.
Good for Kaguya for putting herself first. About damn time someone makes a sound decision.
lol please. Kagome ain't nothing special to write home about. Sesshoumaru is almost as pathetic as she is. He purposefully went back to his bird brained ex knowing that she would be insipid and boring, which would give him an excuse to think about Gome.
Honestly, I just want to read more about Kikyou. She's the only one (so far) with a good head on her shoulders. Tired of reading about simpering females crying over mistakes they make over and over again.
Love is blind, Sesshou. The only innocent in this story is Kikyou. Kagome... GIRL! How pathetic, but how canon it is. Ugh.
No fanfic has ever made me dislike Kagome this much, and I can't get enough.
I've always liked Kagome, she's been my most favorite character in the whole InuYasha series, but after 3 chapters I just want to punch her so bad---so much that I want to pull my own hair and scream at the screen to move onto Sesshomaru.
Then again I know that it'll become good later on. Good story so far.
all i can say is that i hope i can find a love like that and if i dont ill be alright. wonderful, emotional, and amazing is what i call this story. and it did have its "happy ending" after all. im glad i read it. c'ya'
This was such a beautifully written story, the balance you gave between the agnst, pain, and the unrequited love that was felt was simply amazing. Everything felt real and not forced and it wasn't a fairytale it had real human reality to it. You are a very talented writer and thank you for writing this wonderful story.
I have not finished yet but Its one of the few ff''s that I wish Kag/Sess don't end up together :(
i loved the story...!!!!!
Wow...I've never hated Kagome so much...with a passion!
Yay! Could not stand Kagome in the beginning but I love that she finally grew up and found herself. I just wonder how the family would react to her? I'd hope since Kikyou and Inu patched things up they could all move on since it seems they have all grown from the experience and granted forgiveness. You did an excellent job with this story, especially with having Kagome go from hopelessly pathetic to standing on her own two feet and finally getting her shit together, it doesn't matter if a reader loves or hates a character as either signify that you've done your job as a writer to awaken some feelings within readers for those particular characters.
I'm really hating Kagome in this story, but I've been caught and must continue this until the end. But seriously, has she no self-worth?! She knows that Inu has a girlfriend, yet she continues to be with him. Pull on your big girl panties and move on Kagome!!
Ah, fate is just lovely, isn't it? That was the most heart-turning story ever~! :) Lovely, and well done.
I find their idiocy and pettiness infuriating to no end. It is practically hair-tearing and shoe-flinging. (In fact, I did fling my bedroom slipper at the monitor while reading. It elicited strange looks from my cousins and mother.)
I applaud your ability to keep your readers on their toes and to cause such reactions from them, too! Bravo. :)
How do you like it now, Miss If-only-you-were-Inuyasha?! adskgfjahg You're being a whiny, selfish IDIOT! I'm running out of good insults to throw at you as it is! You ignorant spawn of unmarried antecedents! ARGH.
This is the most infuriating story I've ever read.
I love it.
INUYASHA! Isa kang malaking gago! You are one big, pigheaded, moronic---AAARGH! I cannot find any WORDS to describe your behavior right now! Not even speaking in my native language can help! UGH. Do everyone a favor and have your entrails pulled out with a fork.
Great story, by the way!
Someone needs to slap Kagome to her senses, pronto.
Where on earth has the strong-willed Kagome gone?! Her behavior is just infuriating. Her helplessness is pathetic. She should get her act together and see what is in front of her: Sesshoumaru.
