If they are in Japan, why would the officer read them the Miranda Rights? Isn't that term used only in the USA?

...just curious. I do know that that procedure (i.e you have the right to remain silent...) and term came from a US court case. Do the Japanese have a different procedure? I'm German. I don't know the answer, I just thought I'd point it out.

I like the story so far btw. Good hook, though it comes in the second chapter. Might I make a bold sugestion? If you started with naked Sesshomaru running into her, your readers would be hooked off the bat and you could string us along, slowly giving us the reason how Sesshoumaru got there, instead of handing the answer to us on a silver platter at the begining. Mysteries are fun! Not that it really matters cause I'm hooked now anyway... but it's just a thought...
