Hi! I really like the character Ichisumi! I almost prefer it now that you keep them together rather than Sess/Kagome pairing. PLEASE! Don't get rid of her. I'd feel so bad.

Don't worry, sweetie, I believe you'll get to the good stuff but in your own time, as it should be. An author's vision cannot be rushed. Don't be discouraged!!! Take your time -- it's not the destination, but the journey that's important.

Why does the idea of Inuyasha as Kagome's mate seem wrong to so many of us?  Yes, he is gruff and difficult, but the overwhelming reason has to be that he has already given his heart to another woman.  He has already had the love of his life, supposedly, in Kikyo.  Kagome deserves ALL of her eventual mate's heart, not just the part that is left over.  You know that song, "The First Cut is the Deepest"?  Sesshomaru, on the other hand, is so aloof and self-contained, it is easy to believe that he hasn't given his heart, or made any promises, to any other woman.  He has had years in which to discover what an awesome woman Kagome is, and if he is willing to love her in spite of her being a different species, that is a testimant to her worth.  So by creating a world where Sess is so intimate and close with another woman, you have shattered the basic premise that makes him right for Kagome.  Usually, in stories where Sess has pups, or is portrayed as being experienced, it is clear that he did not have a bond with the females involved, which makes it ok.

I'm just explaining why your story makes those of us who identify strongly with Kagome uncomfortable.  I am following "Silent Serenity" with great interest, and I admire the quality of your writing.  It is very well-written, and very interesting.  Sesshomaru's mate is a very credible original character.  Additionally, I acknowledge that, in order to write a believable Sess/Kag story, time and plotting are required to get them together. 

I hope you will put up with those of us who have a hard time accepting Sesshomaru's relationship with his mate, and continue to update your story.  You have my support and admiration.  Keep up the good work!

im really curious to know how all this will play out...

will there ever be sess/kag? i have nothing against the current mate of sesshomaru but we are all here to see sesshomaru with kagome and no one else. can you explain a little to calm our curiousity and fear?

Is there actually going to be any Sess/Kag in this story, because thus far, it has been completely Sess/OC.  And as of yet, I can see no way for it to become Sess/Kag, especially since you just mated Inu/Kag.

mannn, i really wanna know when kagome/sesshoumaru happens... even tho ichisumi isnt an evil person (right now tht is) but still... :P

If possible, could you explain more either in the story or an AN about Inuyasha finally "earning his title" as oppose to "accepting the title he is entitled" to? Will most of the story be told through Ichisumi's perspective or will we get things from Kagome's perspective as well? I will say, I'm a little nervous about how the Sesshoumaru and Kagome relationship will develop given your setup but it is very interesting.

yay! i was all looking if u had any other stories and then i looked at silent serenity again and there was 3 chapters! lols. aww at least sesshoumaru admits he had a friend :P yay kagome! from the way u sorta described sesshoumaru's relationship with ichisumi, it seems like he does sort of have some type of affection for her, and when he described her as a "fiesty bitch", sorta reminds me of kagome. so im wondering how will this turn into sesshoumaru and kagome pairing? and wht happens to inuyasha and ichisumi? ahh the suspense! lols :D

I'm so amped to get into the nitty-gritty of this! Can't wait for another update.
