This was short but sweet indeed. You captured the affection Sesshomaru has for Rin very well, nodding to both sides of the familial relationship that most people think they share: brother-sister or father-daughter. We see this affection manifest in the way he indulges Rin's childish whims and suffering the indignity of donning paper crown and lilac bathrobe. Given that this is a high school AU, Sesshomaru's awkwardness in front of Kagome also makes sense. I'm sure we're all familiar with the ordeal of infatuation, so seeing those feelings and behaviours on the usually stoic Sesshomaru's part was very endearing. I imagine that Sesshomaru is younger here and hasn't quite grown into his usual stoicism yet. You've turned out great work as always.
