Ah, so I finally got around to reading this!  The image of Sesshomaru pulling the chains back was a very powerful one, and I liked how you wrote that.

That's a beautiful bittersweet but wholesome oneshot. Just imagining wondering why your soulmate didn't return for 500+ years only to hear the news of her death as answer, what a torture! Beautifully written, the revival of Kagome and both her and Sesshomaru being able to reunite makes this whole oneshot wholesome.
